It works - relieved significant pain from ingrown big toe
These are amazing. I'm so impressed that these little pieces of plastic have fixed my ingrown toenails I had on both big toes. Had problems sleeping because ingrown nails was causing excessive pain. Have been wearing these for three weeks and the pain has completely gone. Felt relief within 24 hours. For one particularly bad nail, the brace has straightened out the nail and relieved all the pressure on the side that was digging into my skin. Straightforward to apply, just follow the directions. One of my big toes was pretty curved, so I had to place the brace lower and it worked just fine. Took it off two weeks later and replaced with a fresh one further up since the toe had straightened out. It can be a bit tricky to get glue on the second side as it's upside down. Managed it ok - you really only need a tiny speck of glue, less than you think. I put nail polish on 24 hrs later and haven't had issues.

IT WORKS but you have to use it right and that takes tips and practice
I ordered this in the beginning of October of 2019 and am writing this review at the end of February 2020. Now I’m going to give some backstory: I started having issues with ingrown toenails on the big toe of both feet in high school, and then I was stupid enough to have enlisted and made it worse because oh my god, those boots okay? So without saying how oooold I am we’re talking 20+ years of ingrown toenails, tried like every thing I could find, and even had a surgery that didn’t work but was so very traumatizing and lost me half a toenail for more than a year, and it all failed. This. Works. I had this on my wishlist for a while before buying, because it IS expensive, but I finally hit the point where I was like “it looks promising so let’s get it because this is getting past unbearable and I am tired of doing nail trimming yoga to do the necessary pruning to have painless toenails.” I ordered it, it came, and yes I read the instructions in advance before trying it. We’ll get to the tips for how to use it later, but suffice to say that it DOES take a little practice to get it on really good. However it isn’t as hard as some of the other reviews make it out to be, once you figure it out. But again, more on that later. I’m going to start with it wasn’t the most comfortable thing at first, not at all. It made my toes tender when I started them, for a couple days but no more than that. Yes, it could be interpreted as a bruised feeling, but frankly the ingrown toenails hurt me worse and I have a higher than normal pain tolerance anyway so it was tolerable for me. for others, putting this on before a couple days of staying at home might be the best course of action. However, I noticed a change right away. For me, because the cuts I used on my nails was so deep, I placed 2 strips the first time I put them on; one at the mid-nail to lift the cut out of the skin groove, and the other at the tip to keep it up, too. (I did put it on other toes, as well, that was a terrible idea, please check the tips for the different strengths because it’s important. But it worked on those too, just with bruising painfulness.) The relief was pretty much immediate, no lie the pain from the ingrown nails was gone nearly the moment I got it on. It was tender and sensitive where it had been dug in for a few days to a week, but even that little bit got better, too. And then was the slow growing out process, and reapplying, and getting way better at that too, and even more waiting. Now to the reason I have done the review now, and how I know it works 100%. It’s been about a month since the last time I had them on, and I will be putting them back on for another period soon to continue this, but last week I was binging on Netflix and had a foot propped up and absently ran my finger over my big toenail. It. Felt. Weird. I freaked out, because why would I have a ridge in my nail?? But lo, after inspecting, I got really really REALLY excited, because I DO have a ridge, but it’s not a ridge. IT IS NEW NAIL GROWTH IN THE APPROPRIATE CURVE TO NOT GROW BACK INGROWN. So that right there proved to me that while I was sure it was working because the ingrown nail is over the skin and long enough not to go back in, and it’s not hurting, and everything is fine. It has corrected the sharp curve cutting it back so far created, and all the new nail growth is going to be normal again. I CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH THAT IT WAS A PROCESS BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT. Now, the tips and tricks. 1. The biggest one is that this is the curve strength for the big toenail, not any other nail. You can order other strength kits on their website, or as they specify you can also narrow this one to be weaker for smaller nails. Don’t just put this on anything but the big toe. If you put it on the big toe and it feels bruising, take it off and thin it out, it’s too strong for that nail. 2. You can contact their customer service to order new strips sans the kit. 3. When applying, roughing the nail is so needed, it makes the glue stick better. Make sure you take that step instead of skipping it. 4. A pair of tweezers to sit the strip with glue on it in place is very helpful, and not putting too much glue is also helpful. Less is more. 5. Don’t use the swabs in the kit for what they’re for. Use regular swabs, and take the ones from the kit and use those wooden ends to hold the strip down while the glue sets. The longer you hold it tight to the nail while the glue dries, the longer lasting it is. Rotate the swab so it doesn’t get glued down while doing this. 6. The strips stay on for ages if properly applied, and the company has reassured me that you can reuse them. So do that instead of ordering more if you can! 7. If you are ready to reapply the strip, you can help with the initial “I just put this on and the ingrown area hurts as it lifts out” with liberal application of Neosporin and many bandaids to keep it in. Pretty sure that is all the tricks I learned. It takes practice. If you fail at first, keep trying. Use acetone or something to clean the glue off, and go for it again until you get it right. It’s like anything else, you are not going to get it perfect the first try. Perfection isn’t even necessary, good enough will work because that is what happened to me most of the time. This product works. I can’t believe it, honestly, I am still in delighted shock that it’s corrected so much to give me perfect new nail growth. 20+ years of ingrown toenails? Fixed. UPDATE 11/2020: I see tons of negative reviews, so I wanted to continue my own positive story. I am still using them, I haven't managed to wear them nonstop like I know I should, but it turns out the older I get the more V shaped my nails become like my grandmothers snaggletoes. However, popping these bad boys on every couple of months has made my life so much easier and pain free. I still do have good nail growth, the problem is no longer the big toes for the most part. The little toes next to them have started that old lady shape, and I just trim a strip thinner and glue it in place and BOOM. Little toe is tender for a couple days, not painful I am super careful of that, and now little toe does not give me issues with bad nail shape. I imagine to counter that hereditary problem I might be looking at lifelong usage, but when the alternative is pain or having a procedure to stop the nail growth on the sides of the nail (which looks very unsightly to me, I'd like to skip it personally if I can, because I live in a beachy place and open toed shoes are a daily thing) which I don't want. I'm still very pleased with the product and I hope that my tips and trips help anyone who uses them.

This product is worth the money. It seems to really work.
The only reason I am not giving this product 5 stars is because I am still in the middle of the process of growing out my toenail, and not sure it if is going to work long term. I will reassess my review once my nail has completely grown out. I might still not give the product 5 stars due to the difficulty of attaching the brace to your toenail, even when following directions to the letter. But ultimately, with patience - the brace sticks!! And once the brace is in place, oh my, what relief! Now, after 2 months, this product is working well and my nail looks much better. Yes - sometimes the brace can fall off, but the kit comes with multiples and enough glue that you can put on another one and keep going. It takes a long time for a toenail to grow out - so I am still in the "wait and see" mode. So far, so good. Prior to buying this treatment, I bought other, less costly products, but frankly, all they did was put pressure on what was already in pain. They didn't help change the shape of the toenail, they didn't relieve the pain so I figured their "solution" was only short term, if they worked at all. Rather than continue to spend more money on cheap products, I read the reviews and tried this treatment because the concept made sense and so many people were so pleased. When my toenail finally grows out completely, then I will know for sure if this was the fix I hoped for. It seems to be working. In my opinion, after 2 months, it IS worth the money. Expensive yes, but a lot less costly than an operation. It seems to work and it doesn't look all that bad on your nail. I have not tried nail polish yet and not sure I will... but it really blends into your natural color nail. All in all - this is a good product and worth the money.

Saved me tons of pain and $500!!!! LIFESAVER. SERIOUSLY!!!
I purchase a ton of stuff on Amazon, and I don't leave very many reviews, but I have to leave a review for this one. This is a totally unbiased review, I spent my own money on it and did my own research on it, and it is literally worth it's weight in gold and more!!!!!! I have always had ingrown toenail's, but I got so much worse during my pregnancies, and when I lived in a state that was cold and needed to wear closed toe shoes all of the time. My toenails are curved and U-shaped very badly, and I always told everyone that I felt like I had a little knife or a large needles stabbing me in the corner of my toe skin on both of my big toes. One of them was always worse than the other, but both of them were pretty bad. I read reviews and contacted up a podiatrist about this, and the horror of what they do when you have a badly ingrown toenails is absolutely horrific, expensive, debilitating, and includes all lot of pain, and when I say a lot I've read a lot a lot a lot of pain. I really didn't want to have my big toenails cut off, so I spent $50 and purchased this product. The first time you buy it takes a while because you have to read all of the instructions and apply it very carefully with the glue. You may even mess up and need to do it again the first time. I found them to last about a month, which is about how long I go between pedicures, which is perfect. I only had them fall off before I needed another pedicure one time, on one side of my foot, because I cut the strip too long, and applied it with the glue poorly. Every other time it's lasted the full month, and I've had to take it off just because I needed a new pedicure because the polish was looking gross and my toenails were getting long. Be careful to tell the lady who does your pedicure or not to cut in a curved shape and not to cut into the side of the nailbed just to cut a straight line. This is very important so that the nail learns to grow out straight and trains itself. Also, don't soak your feet in the very hot water with the soap in it, just soak your heels and the other toes on the side. The only bad thing I have to say is that I used the five fiberglass pieces on both big toenails for five months, and it was great because even one to two days after the first use, all of my pain went away. This was tremendous for me because I had so much pain, and it was literally completely vanished by the 48 hours after the first use, for five entire months. Even after I ran out of the supplies and stopped using it, I had no pain for about 2 to 3 months, and then it started growing curved again so I re-purchased the product, and the pain was gone again. I think I will plan on using this for many many many years. It's literally an amazing product and I've recommended it to so many people. If you're even considering it, it's because you are in pain like I was, and do not hesitate, just buy the product, shell out the $50, and I promise you will not be dissatisfied. They have a guarantee, and will fully refund Gia, as well Amazon, if it doesn't work for you in anyway shape or form. I had so much pain for so many years, and I wish I would have known that this even existed. The only other thing besides suffering in silence or seeing a podiatrist for a really risky and painful and expensive toenail cutting off treatment is this $300-$400 product from Japan that you use for five minutes a day that's kind of a mechanical thing that pulls the toenail outwards. I didn't want to shell out that much money, have to do some routine every single day, and not know if it would work or how long it would work for. This product is great, just remove your polish completely and clean it exactly as it says in the instructions, and apply it the night before you go get a pedicure so that it sits for at least 12 hours on the clean nail. Then when you go get a pedicure, make sure that they don't use any acetone or any kind of nail polish remover or file or buff that nail, just cut it and fix your cuticle up a little bit, and then put all of the polish on top of that. The polish and the several coats of polish actually helps the strips last and remain on the nail. This is a great product, and I'm happy to answer any questions that you have about it, because I am a believer and it has worked so well for me. The only time that I have had pain over the past year was for a day or two after the three months that I ran out and stopped using it, and the pain came back, so I reordered, and then a day after I receive them the pain was gone again. It's really an amazing product. I'm so glad that this exists and somebody invented it.

Great product, requires patience
This product absolutely works! It takes patience, however, to get a good result. I was able to totally transform my nail but it took about 6 months using this product during the cold months. I purchased this kit multiple times as I continuously reapplied every couple of weeks. The most important part is to gradually remove all of the calloused skin you can get to as the shape of the nail changes. That tough skin acts as a barrier to the nail bed permanently changing shape. I recommend soaking the feet in warm water, trimming as much dead tissue as you can from around the nail bed, then reapplying to the nail. This removes some of that barrier allowing the new brace to have maximum effect. Plus the skin and nail bed will be softened from soaking allowing the brace to have more impact when it is applied. If you are patient and dedicated this is 100% the answer if you want to avoid a painful podiatric procedure. Picture doesn’t do much justice but this is the first time in my life I have not had severe pain every time my toe bumps against something.

relieved my pain within 24 hours
These are very effective and relieved my pain within 24 hours. I have tried another brand with wires that you put into brackets that you glue on your nail. They also worked, but I could not trim the wires close enough. They caught on everything and would pull threads on my bath towels and clothing and were very annoying. These are much better. They are practically invisible, easy to trim to fit, and do not catch on everything. They work wonderfully. I recommend this brand over the other one I tried.

It works!
Okay, I'll cut down right to the case, I had a very bad case of an ingrown toenail in my left foot I researched online several solutions that all led to my toenail being operated on and believe me as many others are I am not a fan of the Doctors/Hospitals visits, I looked at this product although a little bit pricey but it had many good reviews and a couple of bad ones but not enough information on how it exactly worked online! I suggest the creators of this amazing product make a tutorial video and let it slide on youtube about how to apply / how it works it can be a lot helpful to potential buyers and to people who already purchased. When I got this I had to let the swelling in my toenail become less in order for me to be able to apply "CurveCorrect" I also had to cut a little part of the ingrown toenail for the pain to be less while applying. (Note applying this product is not painful at all but in my case the ingrown toenail was infected already so touching the toe would hurt) With that being said I applied the product as instructed with the manual they sent and directly upon application i felt relief as you can actually feel the nails lifting off the sides of the skin! For people who can't do the technique of placing a cotton bud underneath the toenails or other similar solutions this does the same if not better result because there is nothing to pressure your already traumatized toenail or the skin surrounding it, With this being a life saver I purchased it blindly and on great risk of other reviewers not stating the obvious that it works 100% guaranteed unless you have a very bad and severe ingrown toenail! This also works if your nails are simply curved and you want to flatten them out, the reason this is getting a 3 star not a 4 or 5 from me are listed below 1) after a week of purchasing this and applying it the curvecorrect stick was detached because a mistake I did while removing my socks not the product fault, but when it got removed I noticed that the stick itself was already used to the curve of my nail so even if I put it back on it would not have any effect so I put it back on upside down, I assumed the stick would be of stronger tougher material. 2) As mentioned before a tutorial video would be VERY helpful for already purchased customers and going to purchase customers 3) The price not to complain a lot about it but it is too high! at least you can attach more sticks in the future instead of 10 I mean as another reviewer stated there aren't 44.99$ worth of product in there. With it being a LIFE SAVER for me but it's still not enough product in the box for the amount of money paid. Other than the stated above reasons this product works it's effective and the support of the creator is great 110% behind their product, which not many sellers do these days! Delivery was almost instant I ordered and within a few hours it was shipped!! Regards,

They work!
Just got these on yesterday. I'm leaving 4 stars because they are relatively difficult to put on but they really work well. Today my toes are a bit sore/tender, but my nails are almost completely straight and no longer dig into the sides. I'll come back and try to update with long term results.

Amazing Ingrown Toe Nail Remedy
This is the best ingrown toe nail correction kit I have ever found. It comes in a handy good quality clear plastic storage container, so everything is in one place. The instructions are very clear and thorough. It is pretty straightforward to understand what to do and how to do it BUT it is super fiddly... it's do-able on your own but much easier with help. My main tips would be definitely go easy on the glue, as per the instructions and be patient when it comes to holding the strip in place whilst the glue dries. I applied it on bare nails and then had gel polish on top. It didn't hinder the correction strip or the gel polish. I also had the strip under builder gel and that was fine too. You cant actually see the strips when applied especially if you have nail polish on and to be honest, even if you have bare nails, unless someone is up close and personal with your toe, it's unnoticeable. You get several of the strips in the kit, so if you cut it too short or mess up you have plenty of spares. Make sure to use a pair of sharp scissors when cutting it to size. I would suggest smoothing the cut edge with a nail file to take off the sharp edges but be very very gentle or it will dislodge the end you just stuck down. Also don't take a shower/bath just before or after, as the glue needs time to go off and fully harden. It did take a few weeks for the nail to uncurve, but the results are amazing for something so discreet. Definitely worth the price and highly recommended.

Five Stars
Review from my mother, who used the product: Like many, I bought the Curve Correct kit based on user reviews. I seemed to have inherited my mother’s foot shape, and just like hers did, my toenails started to curve a lot as I got older. Curve Correct truly worked as advertised on my big toes, and greatly relieved the pain of the increasingly ingrown nails. I was so pleased that I now want to order the ultra-low tension braces for my smaller toenails, since they are starting to curve a lot also. Before buying the first kit, I read through the many online tips and hints for application. If you want to stop your toe pain, my best advice is to: a) read all of those online tips from other users; b) read through the entire instructions before you start; c) have someone help you if you have any trouble reaching your toes at all; d) both of you read each step again as you come to it; and e) allow enough time to do a careful job – don’t try to rush it. I did all this and each brace stayed on for almost a month before needing reattachment. They felt like a mild pinching for the first two days, but not bothersome enough to even take aspirin. I did get some bruising, but that was partly because I hit my toes on a car door the day after applying (but the brace stayed on!) so I just left it on and let the bruising grow out. It did take patience (my husband’s!) to apply every month or so, but really helped flatten out my big toe nails. Besides the life-changing freedom from foot pain, it’s now much easier to cut those nails and get a pedicure. That’s why I want to try to flatten out the smaller nails as well, before they get worse. I’m grateful I didn’t wait any longer to use the kit on my big toes. Curve Correct does take time to work, but why spend all that time simply hurting when you can use the time to do something about it? I also love that it’s a family owned business. In fact, when I wrote them (late on a Friday and more than a year-and-a-half after purchasing my kit) to ask about the lower-tension braces, an actual human got back to me - on Friday night - with a carefully thought out, detailed, and helpful answer. That level of customer care thoroughly impressed me. I purchased the kit in January 2024, and am writing this review in September 2025. This is the first time I have ever reviewed anything - ever. A product doing what it’s advertised to do? Expected. Service like that? A happy surprise in this day and age. This company has earned all of its good reviews, and I wanted to add mine to the pile. Thanks, Curve Correct!

Amazing pain relief, tricky to put on but works fine once you can do it correctly.
Instant pain relief. I was considering making lower rating because I've had trouble getting them to stay on a long time but the truth is like the other reviews say you just have to do it right. I'm still figuring out how to get it right so they stay on longer. The glue should be a very small amount, and hold both sides on for a long time. Also, while your holding it, don't move, keep it very still. The pain relief is instant and amazing.

Excellent
Excellent. Top tip, use less glue than you think and a wooden (orange) cuticle stick to push down on strip as glue dries. Next day my nails 1st/2nd on both feet were painful to walk on. That eased after 1st day. Within a week my nails are straightening. The pincer curve has almost gone. One strip popped off at one side, simply filed glue off, reapplied glue and stuck back down. So happy with results so far.

Amazing product, fixes your ingrown toenails when used correctly!
This is an amazing product and the second time I have purchased it. Bought it 8 years ago from the seller directly. The ingrown toenail was pain free for 7 years. I am trying it again as I am having issues. Trying it before it gets too bad and the relief has been instant. Best way to make this item work: You must change the band every month to ensure it works and I have it put on by my pedicurist. The nail needs to be clean and dry. Good adhesion is the key. It will not stick if you use or have used creams or softeners on your nail for the past 2 weeks. Scruff the nail good where glue goes to make the glue and band adhere properly. I cannot put this on myself, you need help. When we glue it to the nail we use the end of the q-tip sticks provided to push and hold the band in place for good adhesion. The band needs to be flat against the nail for proper tension. Only glue the ends. It definitely works but it does take time. A full nail growth in order to work properly.
