1 - Sweet - 150g - Vegan Gourmet Liquorice from Denmark - Gluten Free Sweet Liquorice

Coeliac here! I haven’t come across a nice gluten free liquorice in years, so I was excited to try this as a treat. It’s absolutely delicious – rich flavour and great quality. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but the large tub lasts ages and it’s well worth it for liquorice lovers. I like the packaging, it looks smart and would make a lovely present. Highly recommend!

As a Celiac I've really missed liquorice, that was until I came across Lakrids. Yes it's a higher price point, but then again most Gluten free items cost considerably more than "regular" food. The flavour & texture, of this liquorice is spot on. So morish I could quiet happily munch my way through a packet without much thought, but the price stops me, (which isn't a bad thing). This IS a premium product and it IS delicious. I limit myself to one or two pieces a day. I make the jar last as long as possible. I'm now on my 2nd jar and will most certainly buy it again, and again. Highly recommend for ANYONE that loves, quality liquorice.

Gluten free and delicious. I love liquorice and am so happy to have found this. It’s really delicious, soft, smooth and chewy. Yum!

Terrible, I ate them all in one sitting. That’s just terrible. Soft, sweet, not sickly sweet, really tasty and I ate all of them. Can’t really review anything else. The empty box looks ok I guess. Would I buy them again? Yes. Would I try eating them slowly? Probably - but who am I kidding…

Not cheap but I haven’t found a better liquorice and believe me I’ve done my research!!

This is expensive for liquorice, but the best soft liquorice I’ve ever tasted.. you must try if a liquorice fan.

I thought I would never be able to eat liquorice again when I had to follow a gluten free diet, but this is gluten free, tastes like regular liquorice and the texture is the same -FABULOUS!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Only problem is it is so moreish, you just want to consume the lot! 🤭

Best liquorice ever.

I absolutely love black licorice. Being American, unfortunately, quality black licorice is non-existent. Any time I travel to Europe, I try to load up on as much as I can to bring back home (often trying to catch a layover in Amsterdam) hoping it will not harden before my next trip. Finding Lakrids by Bulow is a godsend. I just received it today and had to sample one. Delicious! Just what I look for in black licorice. This is truly a gourmet candy, as I can taste the quality of the ingredients, with the slightly cooling, slightly sweet, slightly bitter, herbal tingle that pleasantly coats the throat and reminds me of being warm and cozy on a harsh winter day or getting a loving hug from grandma wishing sweet dreams before falling asleep. Not that I am Gluten intolerant or vegan, but I am impressed with the soft gel-like consistency which the food texture monitor in my brain just loves (all without gelatin)! Overall, this has been added to my subscribe and save, and to me, the price is well worth it. I will be enjoying one after dinner from now on. My partner, who does not like black licorice also enjoyed the natural clean taste and is also excited to make this treat an after-dinner indulgence.

I recently gifted my grandmother a jar of Lakrids black licorice in two flavors, salty and sweet. While the salty version was a bit too intense for her taste, and nearly turned her stomach, but she absolutely loved the sweet variety! It quickly became a favorite, so much so that I purchased a second jar to replace the salty one. I can confidently say that Lakrids is definitely worth the price. I originally found this brand in a boutique, and I’m thrilled to now be able to conveniently order it whenever I want. I'll definitely be reordering in the future, highly recommend!

Beautifully fresh texture and vibrant flavor. Perfect amount of sweetness. I am so pleased with this product. I am considering trying some of the other flavors. The bonus for me is that it is gluten-free. I was looking for that because I have a gluten intolerance. I especially enjoy a couple of these candies right before I brush my teeth and get ready for my nighttime routine. I don’t indulge in a lot of candy typically but I was craving licorice and I am so grateful that I found this company. If you like, licorice, I highly suggest these.

The licorice was was. Would I buy it again? No, the price is extremely expensive for the small amount. I actually found some gluten free licorice for a 1/3 of the price. But it was truly a good black licorice in taste.
