If you want one that's gonna last this is the one it's extremely sturdy, the clip is strong but not too strong its easy to get your phone in and out but isn't so easy that your phone will slip out intact it has rubber grips on the tip of the grip that actually hold your phone straight as well as being a grip, it's a very sturdy but still bendable "stand" it is kinda hard to bend it and move it but, that just means if your setting it in a single spot and keeping it there, you won't have to keep setting it up you can set it up once and leave it I got mine for my wife cause she likes to watch her shows on her phone while she smokes so now she doesn't have to keep leaning the phone on the arm of the couch and dealing with it falling over all the especially since I have high anxiety and bounce my leg alot

Easy to use. Adjustable, holds my phone exactly where I want it. Can be used in multiple applications, like your headboard, on an airplane, work desk or chair. The quality is tops. I was so happy with the first one, that I got one for my BF so he'd stop "borrowing" mine.

Seems great. It’s very stiff so stays in place. I use it for making sewing videos and it’s the only one that works well for closeups, and easier to position than the boom mount on my tripod. I use it on a glass topped table and the clamp is very secure. Read the reviews. It’s prone to break. I’ll be careful not to bend it back and forth in the same place, and will be gentle with the plastic phone clamp. Good value for me at $12.17. I ordered the "classic" version although I meant to order the 33" one. This does not have the "upgraded ball clamp" but the phone clamp does rotate. Might be nice to have a ball clamp but that is probably a weak point, and they are often not very stable. My photo shows that it is 28" from the phone clamp to the table top. That would be shorter if you are clamping on a very thick table or board.

I use this for recording and taking pictures of art. It's easy to use and fits to any table/desk with a flat edge. It fits my phone perfectly. Although it is harder to bend into place, it is very strong and doesn't bounce around much. Works great!

Works so good. I’ve have 3 surgeries I my thumbs from arthritis and still have it in my fingers so I cans hold my iPhone very long without pain. This product is awesome and now my iPhone is hands free. This uses some type of stiff cable so to pretty much stays in place. I just over direct it a bit more than I need so it’s wear I want. I do have to readjust it but it’s worth every penny for me.

TL;DR: I wish I could give this item a higher rating, as they hold devices securely and stay put, but over the long-term, the plastic has snapped on every single one. Pros: - Long neck that can reach many different areas and will stay put. - Screw-on compression base that can open wide enough to fit most standard (vertical or horizontal) surfaces. - [Old Design] Has spacing between the handle and the holder, so that it can hold other small items (such as glasses). - [New Design] Much easier to open and appears to be a bit more durable (more on that below). - Has handled all our phones like a champ: from "take half your face" chonkers to iddy bitty "Zoolander" models. Cons: - [Old Design] Over time, the plastic holder appears to become brittle and snaps (sometimes at the base, sometimes at the bridge). - [New Design] While they've replaced the dinky bridge with a more uniform design, the plastic still becomes brittle causing the holder to snap. We've been buying these since 2020, but part of the reason we've been buying them is that the plastic holder will eventually give out. The longest a holder has lasted is 3 years, the shortest is just under a year, but inevitably with daily use, they have all snapped. Despite this, if purchased on sale, I would still recommend the new design, as it seems to last longer, and it's better than other models we've tested that either don't hold the device in place or have given out much sooner. A recommendation to the manufacturer/designer: if you can find a way to make the holder modular/detachable without sacrificing it's ability to hold things in place, and sell that separately for a cheaper price, that would be nice, as it's a shame to have to throw these out when the base and neck are perfectly functional.

bought this bc ive just been resting my phone against something at my desk and my charger reaches across my room so sometimes i end up accidentally yanking the cord and launching my phone so i needed something that could withstand that force and not drop my phone LOL honestly really like it but THIS ARM IS HARD TO MOVE AROUND. from table to device, i measured the arm to be around 36 inches but it really doesnt feel like its that long because of the curves you can create the arm: not for the weak LOL - i wouldnt consider myself weak but i had to leverage it against my body and use both arms to bend it from its original position in the packaging. not impossible but just harder than expected but that does mean that the arm is strong enough to hold heavy devices. sooo i wouldnt necessarily recommend if you need to move it often. doesnt make any annoying squeaky noises when i move it around which is nice - the only sound comes from my grip squeezing the leather against the rod inside the table clamp: plastic and its stable and doesnt budge when i grabbed and jiggled it to try n move it - my desk is on wheels and i moved my whole desk with it HAHA super easy install clip device clamp: i love this clip compared to the retractable ones on the market. i love the ball rotator thing, super convenient especially because the arm is stiff AHHAA opens far enough to fit a device that is 2 inches MIN and 4 inches (MAYBE 4.25) MAX. has silicone grips so that it doesnt damage the device and doesnt let it slide or get pulled out, its super secure.

Okay, so this is a pretty good phone holder, however there are a couple issues. First, the clamp appears to be a bit short for clamping onto a table securely. I've ordered one of these similar stands awhile back, and the clamp actually split and broke, but the clamp was much longer to help grip onto the table. This shorter, thicker design "may" help actually by reducing the amount of pressure placed on the clamp when tightening it down. It does clamp securely, just with a much smaller attachment. The main issue I have, is when I read 33.5", I expected the actual full length of the gooseneck itself to be 33.5, but this measurement is from the base where it connects to the table, to the ends of the clamp itself - which is a bit misleading. The image in the description also shows a much longer looking gooseneck. I don't think I could even mimic or copy the listing description's image with this, as it clearly only has about 21" of visible usable length. I purchased this one thinking it would be longer, as I have a wide table and needed something that could go across the table and hold my device, out of the way, while I record tutorials. This only goes about half-way, which is not what I needed or expected. For this, I'm taking off 1 star because I would not have purchased it knowing this. However, if you don't need a longer solution, this should work for your needs. Yes, it does "wobble" quite a bit if you accidentally hit it or bump your table, but there isn't much that will keep that from happening with a gooseneck style holder. I also see people complaining about how stiff it is, well yeah, it is intended to hold in place, but it's not as difficult as people are saying. I'm a middle-aged woman, I don't lift weights, and I have no issue.

The gooseneck is surprisingly strong. I can't see this ever weakening and becoming floppy. The base opens up to just over 6 cm, and fit over my very thick headboard! The clamp which hold the phone seems study enough to hold my large Samsung, and not drop it on my face while sleeping. Go for it! A stunning product at a very good price. Mine was delivered on the same day!
