I like the very warm and comfortable fit, I ordered 1 size up from my measured foot size, and it's just right-room in the toe area and a snug fit at the heel. The actual footprint is the same length as my walking shoes but a bit wider, weight is about 70% higher. I suggest order 1 size up and wear thick moisture wicking socks as recommended, also you might find they are wider than medium based on my boots fit and actual footprint. The 14inch height is just right for tucking in pants and keeping stuff out of the boots. The only thing I find difficult is getting them off, getting them on is a snap ( handles would not be necessary for me). The way that works the best is put the foot flat on the floor, then with the heel tilted up press down on the heel of the boot, but don't try and pull it off with the boot in the air.The price at Amazon was very good at about one third off of the Bogs MSRP. Also thanks to Boggs for providing larger sizesabove the common standard 14 maximum in a few of their boot choices. From some initial use I would say Bogs are easy to get on and off, lightweight, comfortable, and keep my feet warm in hours of 25-30 F temperatures with just a pair of thick socks, don't know about lower temperatures though. Easy to run on snow, and to climb snow banks. Their biggest weakness might be on ice, I've seen a kid slip over wearing them. It might take some practice "walking like a penguin" etc. These aren't the best footwear for ice, but ideal for slush and snow.

Not for everyday, occansional wear only
If you want a comfortable everyday boot this is NOT it. I work on a concrete floor that is covered ankle deep in water. Rather than wearing a hard rubber boot that doesn't last that long either I prefer some comfort being on my feet and in water all day. For the price these just don't last. I can buy 8 cheap pairs of rubber concrete boots for the price of one of these, but then spend the money saved on pain killers and foot relief. Walking on concrete the souls wear smooth in less than two months and even though they reinforce the toe, the boot always breaks where your toes bend, which is past the reinforcement. The waterproofing is only surface deep, once the boot cracks where it bends say hello to wet feet.

Great boots, but the sizing is a bit off
Great boots, but the sizing is a bit off. My normal size is a bit too snug. Since they don't make half sizes, perhaps one size larger might fit the bill.

Super light, super warm, small size
These boots are so warm and comfy! I tried on my size and my toes touched. Since they don't offer half sizes, I had to order a full size larger than anything I've ever worn. They are a bit loose, but still so dang comfy! I wore them all day outside today, clearing snow and doing car repairs in the driveway. I wore regular"business"socks and could not have been more comfortable.Oh, and I tried on the Rancher model and they run larger! Don't let anyone tell you these boots run true to size... You need to either try them on or buy them from a vendor that let's you return them if they don't fit.

5 star boot!
Living in Minnesota I put these boots to the test, in deep snow, slush, cold weather, and being a sportsman ice fishing and hunting. They are awesome! Very light and great traction. Great price and they come in large sizes!! ( I wear a 18 ) . I have bought these to my whole family and recommend them all the time. Just cans say enough good things about these boots!

Another Sizing Comment
Some of the reviews say that these boots run true to size, while many others say they are too small. I have worn a size 11 since I was in my teens (decades ago) and ordered a 12 based on the reviews that said they run small. Also, on Bogs web-site they state that their boots are based on a European last, which isn't the same as US size standards. When I got my boots I tried on the right boot first since that's my "strong side" so that foot is slightly bigger than the left. I also left the stock insole in the boot even though I will be replacing them with Superfeet insoles, which, in my case, helps reduce back pain. With somewhat heavy socks, Covert Threads ICE, the 12's fit just a little snug (right foot,) but acceptable. A 12.5, if they made them, would be perfect for my right foot, maybe a little loose on my left. After trying on the right boot I removed the insoles in order to determine what type of Superfeet insoles I needed, some are made for loose fitting footwear, some tight. The Bogs insoles are fairly thick so by going with Superfeet "Carbon" insoles, which are thin as a result of the strength gained by using carbon fibers, my 12's will end up fitting just about right. Not a chance of that happening if I would have went with my normal size 11's, with or without insoles.I read a review somewhere that stated one of the boots fit fine but the other was too small. I thought of this review when I pulled the insole out of my left boot and felt something "funny," which turned out to be a second insole insert. Based on their thickness I could see where having two of them would be a serious sizing issue. The right boot only had one. My new inserts won't be here until next week and because of the snug fit on my right foot, I never tried on the left with stock insoles, I'll be using these without any insoles at all, not an issue because the neoprene covers the whole foot bed and is actually quite comfortable, but lacks the additional support insoles provide. These boots are easy to put on and take off, my pants, with long johns underneath, can be worn inside or outside (pants only) of the boots and the boots are surprisingly lightweight for their size. I have only worn them outside for a short period of time with the temp around 10F and they seem fairly warm, but I was moving around. I only gave them four stars because I don't know how durable they will be over time. If they turn out to be as tough as they look, and feel, then another star would be in order.EDITED 12/01/14: Now that I've had a chance to wear them more in colder temp's I wanted to pass along that these aren't as warm as the -40 degree rating would lead you to believe, not even close. I still can't figure out how BOGS, as well as Muck, came up with that temp. rating for this type of boot. My primary reason for getting these boots was for late Fall & early Spring fishing, with temps generally in the 40's, and I think they will serve me well for that purpose. If looking for cold weather hunting boots, or to use ice fishing, I would look elsewhere, unless you were fishing in a heated shanty. These boots would probably do better if I would have got a size 13 and used a thick felt insole with sock liners under my Covert Threads, ICE, socks. No matter, for cold temps I'll continue to rely on my Lacrosse Ice Man boots (felt pacs), which have served me well for going on 20 years, which means I bought them back in the good old days when they were made in the U.S. of A.

Pleased, Very!
So I went on a recommendation by a family member and read the reviews here on Amazon. I bought a different pair that I had seen in person, but either way I am so pleased with this purchase as is my family member. Warm in the snow, dry walking in the muck and easily accessible to throw on and off to run the pooches out in the rain. Best part is the kick on the heal for easy removal. Straight black so not attractive but fine with anything to wear. Who really cares in bad weather anyway. Great product so far....
