Expensive and labor intensive, but I love it.
I bought this (or a very similar product) four years ago to test along my concrete driveway to keep the concrete edge separated from groundcovers and to make weed control easier. This original mulch strip met all my expectations and drastically cut maintenance along the driveway where it was installed, but I could not find it again until this year. I have installed 13 rolls so far this year and expect to use an additional 4 before I am finished. It has been a monster job as the driveway edge had to be cleared, roots removed, soil added and then the edges smoothed and the dirt packed by walking over and over it. I placed the mulch strip about 1/4" lower than the driveway. I bought contractor staples from Amazon which are far superior to anything I have seen previously and used a hammer to pound them into the ground. As with all projects, your results depend on proper preparation and installation. I expect to reap the rewards of this fairly expensive, labor intensive project for years - probably decades. Bonus - the strip is easy to pull up and make corrections if you have gotten it too high or low. I put a light layer of pine straw over the strip to blend it into the landscape.

It is easy to lay down.....matches great with black mulch and help makes the flower beds pop!
