Question 1

What metal are the spikes made of?

Accepted Answer

Nth Metal

Question 2

are the blades made of metal and are they sharp?

Accepted Answer

Yes they are metal and the points were very sharp i took a small file to them an put a slight rounded edge on mine

Question 3

is there any way i could make them smaller. i have really skinny arms and i would like these to fit.

Accepted Answer

Instead of making them smaller make your arms bigger by adding a wrapping of medical gauze dyed black or some other wrapping material. This might add a cool look to them & will definitely help absorb impact! Just thinking outside the box, I sincerely hope this works out well for you! Even if you can find something cheap from the Goodwill that has a fur lining that can be cut up to wrap & tie around your arm, leaving the tuffs visible at each end might look cool! I repaired a old Viking sword sheath like that by gluing the fur to the hard wooden scabbard & then I went to the crafts department at Wal-Mart & braided different color leather cord to cross wrap around the fur & it came out looking better than the original. I would try this before altering your cuffs worst case scenario you could still sell them if you start altering the cuffs themselves their value will depreciate. I hope this works, good luck!

Question 4

Can the gauntlets be used outdoors or is it a prop thing?

Accepted Answer

These are very durable and are meant to be used. They are definitely NOT a prop. I used these for a Batman cosplay, and I had to tape the blades so I wouldn't accidentally puncture anyone.
