Amazing taste and quality!
Amazing quality and taste! I'm relatively new to matcha but as a result of my second pregnancy, I can no longer tolerate the taste of coffee. Matcha has been a game changer (infinitely superior in taste and health benefits). I read reviews and this specific brand seemed to be highly recommended and now I can see why. Excellent packaging (airtight seal, canister), vibrant colour, perfect texture and workability. The taste is so smooth and pleasant. It pairs perfectly with oat milk and vanilla syrup. Better than the one you get from Starbucks even. I feel more soothed, energised for longer, and it even helps with morning sickness. Do not hesitate to grab some for yourself!

A really lovely matcha!!!
This is one of the nicest matcha teas I've had, in terms of taste, enjoyment and its effects. It definitely puts you in 'another space', but not by means of any aggressive caffeine levels, which I've experienced even in Japan, where a culinary grade or worse is served. I wonder whether the people who've complained in their reviews about bitterness or an unpleasant taste are using water that is too hot? I boil a kettle with fresh water and then straight away pour it into a clean cup, and when the water has heated the cup, into another, and into yet another (ie the same one that has been chilled by running it under the cold tap). Then, having put around half a heaped teaspoonful or a bit less of the powder into a different cup, I add a smallish amount of the cooled water into the cup with the matcha powder and stir. Then add more of the cooled water into the cup containing the matcha, but nowhere near the top of the cup, and then whisk with a milk frother (if the cup were too full at this point, the whisking would make the froth overflow). Then I top up with either more cooled water, or cold water, depending on which I'd prefer. It sounds complicated but it's not at all - hardly any more than making a cup of English tea. Sometimes I pour the tea into a larger cup (glass, so I can enjoy the colour!), and add hot or cold oat milk, which is also delicious, makes it into a kind of latte. Cow's milk would work well too, but the temperature is crucial so that the matcha is not spoiled. I recommend this tea very highly for its quality.

Smooth lovely taste
I have been drinking Matcha Tea for decades. This is one of the best I've tasted. Reordered many times. Lovely smooth taste and aroma. Froths very easily which is a good indicator of quality.

It’s good and tastes amazing
I was so excited to receive this considering I paid a lot of money for only a 40g tin… however, the taste is impeccable and a little goes a long way too. The health benefits are off the charts and it’s easy to use; especially if you have a matcha whisk set. The added photos are two of the product

Tasty and strong matcha
I've tried few different matcha types at various price range and this one is definitely the best. I drink my matcha with water rather than milk so flavour is very important to me. This matcha has a very subtle and pleasant flavour and is actually strong unlike the other brands sold in a bigger packaging.

Best matcha I’ve honestly ever tried.
This is hands down the best matcha I’ve ever tried. My sister also complimented it and said it’s the best matcha she’s ever tried. I wish that they sold a bigger pack, I would’ve bought it in a heartbeat. My whole life I’ve hated matcha, but one day I woke up and I had a huge craving for it. Instead of wasting money, I bought a matcha set and this matcha pack. I was afraid because I didn’t want it to taste fishy, but it’s honestly lovely and sweet. My best friend got me a new matcha and it doesn’t compare to this. It tastes too “grassy”. As soon as I’m finished with that, I’ll definitely buy a refill. If you’re worried about getting this, go for it.

Definitely not as good as my usual matcha.
My usual matcha that I buy from Japan had delivery issues due to the war in Ukraine. The price for an alternative delivery would have cost me at least £15 so I though no way, I’ll give something else a try. So I spent half the day trying to find something that might have matched the quality of my usual brand. I found some which I though might be good, but I refused to pay double for a lesser amount than what I usually get. I then found this matcha on Amazon and I thought okay, I’ll give this a go for £16 for 30g. Well this matcha is not a patch on the one I get direct from Japan. No way. It’s slightly gritty and leaves a dry chalky film in my mouth afterwards. The flavour is no where near as good. It doesn’t even have much of a flavour. It’s very sub par in comparison. I now realise how spoilt I’ve been and what a rip off matcha sold in the U.K. is. The matcha I get from Japan is £19 for 100g and isn’t even their best quality matcha. The reviews for this matcha are mostly excellent and I just don’t think people have managed to get their hands on good quality matcha. There are so many poor quality matchas being sold as ‘ceremonial grade ‘ or ‘premium grade’ which is just a sales tactic. They don’t give these gradings in Japan. And a decent matcha doesn’t have to be so expensive. I can understand people thinking this is a good matcha if they’ve had crappy matches previously. But for me, I’ve had such good quality matcha that this isn’t good to me at all. I can’t believe how lucky I’ve been finding the brand I get. I really should’ve just paid the high postage price and gone for my usual! Anyway, lesson learned. I’ll drink this so I don’t waste my money but i don’t even enjoy it. Sorry.

Exceptional quality, lovely taste
I decided to go for a slightly pricier Matcha to see the difference in quality and affect. Since I got this with a gift voucher I can't really complain about the price. Matcha is known for being expensive - and this is sourced from Kyoto, which means its ceremonial grade, so the price is understandable. I was impressed from the get-go. Arrived quickly, packaged nicely in an air-tight container and the colour is a vibrant green I've never seen before. The taste is palatable. I find the best way to use this is to add 1/2-1 tsp in to a smoothie (I blend it with tropical fruit and coconut milk) and it makes a lovely green colour. The taste is subtle when blended with fruit, but the affects are still there. In fact, 1/2 tsp is more than enough for me (if you're sensitive to caffeine like me go easy on this stuff) as I find that a dosage slightly over can be the difference between a good high and just feeling like crap. I prefer to drink this later in the day on a full stomach as it can be quite harsh in the mornings. The high is great though, so much focus and mental clarity but without the jitteriness of coffee.
