Baileigh 12-Inch Manual Slip Roll, 20-Gauge Mild Steel (Model SR-1220M)

Arrived with one of the black knobs completely shattered with shards in all the gears. I spent a bunch of time clearing out the debris. Amazon made it right by me and other than the shipping damage it's a great little metal roller! Couldn't be happier with it.

I returned it as I found another one from the same brand that cuts and bends for almost the same price

Working the way in the way I need it to

1. The tiny handle used to move the rollers is 3x too small, providing little torque and unevenly at that. That forced me to fabricate my own 2ft diameter wheel, which works much better. If I had gotten the roller / brake combo, the longer handles might have saved me my multi-day DIY fix. 2. The adjustment dials you use the most - the ones that tighten the bending radius - are located behind and underneath the machine, making it hard to reach and hard to see what you are doing with them. This is a poor design that is identical to the cheap brands, so probably all share the same source. 3. The black handles used to change pitch have no markings on them whatsoever, leaving you to guess how far you just spun the left one before you do the right. I had to score and mark my own notches on all 4. 4. The paint job is crap. Thick, gloppy paint that arrived pre-chipped all over the place and continues to flake off onto the workpiece when used. C'mon Baileigh, powder coat these things!

Well built and does exactly what it should.. made some round collars using 20ga, 26ga and 28ga..

Great for the price and light use.
