Wisest purchase I made to deliver the results needed

Worked well and saved my VCR.
When I first tried this, the tape deck spit it right back out. I then hand wound the tape forward then back just using my finger. The spools are real loose. However, I tried again and it went through the sequence. Rewound and did it again, no problem. Then I tried a tape. It WORKS! I was thrilled there were no more lines or the tape getting stuck. I really didn't want to spend a lot of money for a refurbished unit. Now I don't have to!

Defective and Doesn't Function as Promised
Arrived with a liquid stain on box and only few drops of fluid left in bottle. Used 5 precious drops in the provided hole on top and inserted it into the VCR (hard to come by now) and it went about 5 seconds and stopped. I took it out and raised the flap and there was a pronounced crease in the "tape" I couldn't see or feel any moisture. I took apart the cassette because I pulled out the tape and it had a twist, not just a wrinkle. It's not much more than a yard of tissue paper like ribbon. It's junk. I've had a much better version of this product and you could see the fluid go down onto the tape from a little window. This weep hole goes into a wee little felt that looks like it goes round and round with the gears? The tape is dry as a bone so no fluid ever reached the VCR heads. I know I went on the cheap side, but this is ridiculous.

Works ok. Kind of cheaply made but with not many VHS products being available I didn’t have much choice.

Yay —- IT WORKS AGAIN!!
Wow am I the only one that still has a vhs player?? I guess not. I was able to buy a cleaning tape. I thought my player was done for. But I ordered this and we are in business. My grandson will be thrilled to know he can watch the Disney tapes again- it was very easy to use-

Works fine
What didn’t work was my25 year old VHS player. Audio signal OK, video portion not so good.

Helped some, but did not perform a miricle.
Static picture, before and after, but a little better. Liked the cleaning fluid storage in the cleaning tape itself!

Did the trick!
Took out an old VCR and put a tape in. Horizontal lines spanning several inches. Tracking did not help. Bought this head cleaner and ran it twice. Put the same tape back in the player and great picture, no lines!
