After 3 weeks one has started to break. Upon inspection i seem to be missing the metal inserts?

All I can say is the ones I purchased have been working fine for over a year now and in frequent use too. You may just have an extremely stiff knob(!) or maybe they are quite not the correct size?

How many control knobs come in a pack? It says in the description "2 of..." - am I correct to say two knobs come in a pack?

When I ordered a short time ago I got one in the pack.

What is the size of the D shape ? I want to use it on another appliance as it is a good looking knob.

I'm really sorry but I have now moved home & left the cooker with the new knob at previous address. So unable to measure it for you.

Ive lost the small metal piece that goes into this

I feel that the loss of inner metal piece will not ensure tight fit - the knob will just spin round
