Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Nintendo Wii U

Ok, so by now everyone knows about Black Ops 2 and how it plays, so I will not go into detail with that. But I do want to tell you that this game is the best first person shooter on the Wii U. I know the Wi U just released, but for anyone who played the later versions of Call of Duty will really apreciate this one. First, the graphics have better detail than the PS3 and on is on par with the 360 (I own all 3 systems). The gameplay online is smooth, I did not see any difference in frame drops at all for the hours I've played the game. I havent played the campaign on the wii because I finished that part on a PS3, so I cant speak on how the game runs, but I will update when I do. Being able to play Black Ops 2 on the Wii U controller is pretty awesome. It will take anyone a bit of time to get used to the controller since it has the analog sticks on top and the x,y,b,a buttons on the bottom. To reload, jump, go prone is kind of difficult to do just because i'm so used to the other controller layouts. But with time I'm sure it will get better. Even though you can not take the controller too far from the tv, I was able to play 2 rooms away, so thats pretty good. black ops 2 looks pretty darn good on the controller screen and runs as smooth if not smoother than on the tv I kid you not. I also like that you can adjust the settings on the fly for the controller if in case the analog sticks are too sticky or too loose. To sum it up, if you own the Wii U and have not picked up black ops 2, do so, you wont regret it. If you have multiple consoles, I'd say the Wii U version of Black ops 2 is the best out of the bunch.

Gave this to my son for Christmas early (preThanksgiving) so he could play when he came home from college on break. We did not allow him to take it to college (the Wii) as there are enough distractions and we need him to keep his scholarship. Warning!!! Had to run out and buy a WiiU (I was told it was impossible but took me 1/2 hour to get the $299 one we wanted) since I did not know it would not play on the old Wii. Then came the HDMI issue and the new TV (another 1/2 hour). But he is a great kid and has deserved it. en played non-stop, not returning to any other COD game on the old Wii. He completely immersed himself and called it better than ever and awesome. I can tell this product made my son very happy. He really enjoyed himself. I know what he will be doing when he comes home for Christmas break and as we open gifts around his feet ;-)

Only had the Wii U for about 7 months. The kids love it and the CoD games work exceptionally well. I have nephews with XBOX One and PS3/Xbox360 - I've played it on those platforms and it really is ridiculous to have to pay to play online. It's *FREE* on the WiiU. As soon as I got it, I was able to play Online in mutliplayer mode. Graphics are great - I hear so many comments about WiiU graphics not being great - it's HD and works great. GamePad support is awesome too - I really enjoy playing these. I also have CoD/Ghosts and enjoy that tremendously - still learning some of the features on this one too.

This is the Best FPS game available for the Wii U! COD definitely delivers high quality gameplay to the Wii U! The graphics are great, natively displaying at 720p. Even though it is not natively 1080p, it still looks amazing. There are a few problems with the online gameplay. Every now and then there will be server problems and the game will pause and change servers. It usually only takes less than a minute. Not a deal-breaker, but something to consider. Even with the lower quality and server problems I'm still putting in dozens of hours a week. Wonderful game, I highly recommend to buy it!

If you think this game is going to be crap guess again!!! Pros: *No split screen for 2 player (unless you like playing like that) *The graphics are nice and crisp *The gamepad is your best friend for this game Cons: *Wii remote/Nunchuck is really bad (Unless you are use to it) *You may need to go out and buy a Wii U pro controller (This is if you like the feel of a Xbox 360 controller) *No Nuketown 2025 (Maybe in a update or being able to purchase it with Nintendo Eshop in the future) *I have yet to play zombies or the campaign on this version *UPDATE 2/2/13 -The campaign is fair at best -The zombies part of the game is ok but I more of a team death match or domination person -No DLC yet/No Nuketown 2025 (But however they did update the game that caused a glitch while knifing, running or throwing any type of item from your hand but it has not happened to me since the day of the day of the update)(Also they put in the peacekeeper calling cards by mistake as well and they are all unlocked) **UPDATE 4/5/13 -Still No DLC and it is pretty much fair to say that most likely they will not release any at all for the wii u because uprising is coming out on the Xbox 360 on April 16th -Some of the recent updates since then have made the MSMC a garbage gun thank goodness i had it almost gold before the nerf (Best SMG now is the MP7) -My Wii U randomly crashed while playing this game and will no longer power on and I call Nintendo and they give me the run around so I listen and they tell me blah blah blah we will send you shipping label for UPS but if we notice anything out of the ordinary you will have to pay for it if you want your console back (so let me get this right even if I did not do anything to my system joe the tech guy that works for Nintendo that wants a raise or get ahead can say you did this and that so you gotta pay x amount of dollars to get your console back I am not taking that risk because Nintendo is out to make money not lose it I'm not dumb) and to add fuel to the fire Nintendo and Activision need to just part ways (Black Ops 2 is the only game that when I played it on my wii u it would sound like the disc was breaking inside the the console)so I really don't know who is at fault here is it Nintendo for not making the disc drive powerful enough or is it activision/treyarch for actually putting this game on this console knowing it will make your console explode (I will update this if i decide to get another wii u and black ops 2) ***Update 6/3/13 I sent in my Wii U power cord and they sent me a new one and the system has been working fine but now my black ops 2 disc is falling apart and im noticing more freezing because of it I may have to purchase another copy because I almost have diamond SMG's and Shotguns...Guns I need gold for diamond Chicom and S12...I also have some of the assault rifles gold MTAR, Type 25, AN-94, Scar-H and the M27...But if black ops 2 quits working I guess I will have to buy another copy maybe used unless its 29.99 again on here brand new I'll buy that

I love having the ability to play Multiplayer on the gamepad. The online is surpisingly stable, although there are occasionally some framerate issues. I found this game visually stunning in certain parts, particularly when you are riding horseback through the desert. While the story of the campaign is slightly brutish, the gameplay is just excellent. If you're a fan of FPS's and have yet to play this game, I'm confident that you'll find this version the best one to buy, and I'm confident that you'll enjoy it.

We bought this for our 12 yr old son on the theory that if he played it at home we could control his time on it whereas at his friends house we could not. While the game may not be too violent, we found that our son became obsessed with it and it really started to change his attitude and behavior. Therefore we've taken it away. I cannot recommend this video game.

For only $ 20 I recommend people to get the game. I have the game for the 360 and PS3 and the best one that play and is more responsive is the Wii U version. Not only that but the second screen is so cool cause you don't have to see that middle division when you are playing with other person in your house. This is a must and I hope Amazon put the Ghost game for pre order cause it was confirm recently for the Wii U.

It was a nice product but sadly the wii u version didn't have any of the dlcs . Good shipping though.
