what is the difference between fuel tank f6c and f6d?

Looking on the Spectra website, the F6C and F6D tanks both have the same external dimensions of 58-7/8" X 12-1/4" X 12-1/2". Both have a capacity of 19 gallons and both come equipped without the vent support in the filler pipe. Further, Spectra shows the F6D to stop with the 1989 model year and the F6C starts with the 1990 model year continuing to 1997 (or 1996 for the F150). Wondering if there is "something" that may be different from an emissions standpoint or is there a design change for the fuel pump / sending unit.I have used the F6C without any problems for my applications which are for the 1995 - 1997 F350's. All of my purchases have been for trucks with the 7.3L PowerStroke. For anyone with a 7.3L, I HIGHLY suggest purchasing Ford E5TZ-9J306-BA filter assembly. Most likely, anyone purchasing a tank for a vehicle with 20 years of service (DIESEL application only) will most likely find that the filter assembly will be in pieces in the bottom of the tank (if the pieces haven't been drawn through the system to the fuel filter bowl already).

Will this fit my 95 f150 xlt extended cab short bed ?

If you have a dual tank setup it should I put mine on a 95 long bed with dual tanks if you just have one tank in the back you will have to get a different style tank
