Definitely helps me fight cold and flu when taken at the first sign of symptoms. Without any side effects or need for medications. Will definitely be buying again. A bit pricey but worth it.

I take this when I feel something coming on and it knocks it down quickly. It even works when I feel a lip blister forming it stops it!

As an RN who worked ER for 20 years, I know a thing or two about colds & Flu! First: wash your hands every one or two hours NO EXCEPTIONS, & more often if in contact with " public surfaces" like door handles, stair railings etc. Then: carry Esberitox blister packs of echinacea blend in your pocket. At the VERY FIRST SIGN of colds or Flu - chew 6 of the tablets & repeat when the symptoms begin to return. This is usually an hour or two. Repeat until symptoms are no longer coming back. For ME, the first sign of colds is a scratchy dry uncomfortable throat. For you it may be a cough, or a stuffy nose, runny nose or something else. In my experience, everyone has their own "prodrome" that tells them:."Yikes! A COLD!!" Flu usually hits you like a runaway train. Hence the admonition to carry these in your pocket: NOT in your desk, at home in the medicine cabinet, your briefcase which is back in your office, or anywhere you can't immediately pop these in your mouth. You don't even need water because these tabs are meant to be chewed. This gets some directly absorbed by the enzymes in your mouth and the rest the normal way: via swallowing. Of all the types of ecchinacea I've used, this is the best by far. Ease of use, portability, and fast, fast onset of action makes this preparation hard to beat! One last thing: the Influenza type A which is wreaking havoc this year IS mostly covered by this years vaccine. If you HAVE had this years Flu vaccine, you are likely covered but DO still carry your ecchinacea in your pocket & wash your hands often. If you have NOT gotten you Flu shot - you should STILL get one. This type of flu is gong to hang around for months. Get your shot but know that tho it begins building your immunity day one, the full effect will take one to two weeks to develop.

Love this product. It is absolutely SUPER at keeping away the colds and flu's. If you feel something coming on, start a regimen of these tasty little chewables. Your cold or flu will never materialize -- it just knocks it out flat. The key is to use this as the Preventative, and not the Cure. You can take it all day long if you already have the cold, and it could (at best) speed your recovery by a day or two, but I've never been sure of that. On the other hand, if you start it before the bug gets ahold of you, there's nothing better than this product to stay healthy. Great product.
