I used two sets of these in 6.5" round to replace the blown out JBL speakers in a 2003 toyota avalon xle. These not only sound better than the JBL's did when they were new, but are about 900 dollars less than the dealership wants to replace the JBL speakers. If you have a drill and some basic wiring knowledge (very basic), as well as some experience pulling the door panel off of your car, you can easily replace your old speakers with these. The front speakers in the avalon come in a plastic housing that angles them downwards for some reason, and once you remove the old speaker from the plastic housing, this easily fits in and replaces it with almost no trouble at all (just drill holes to match the housing). They also work very well to replace the back door speakers in the avalon, which are something like 3.5 inches. I just removed the rear door speakers and the housing and threw it away, then just drilled out the correct hole pattern in the door of the car in the same slot, and screwed these in. They work so much better than the JBL's that I'm thoroughly happy. 32 dollars to replace 4 blown out speakers is a great deal. Also, even though the factory JBL's are 2 ohm and these are 4 ohm, they work without a hiccup. I'd definitely reccomend them, and I'd buy them again.

Each time I purchase a new Boss speaker system I'm increasingly impressed with the brand. This one is no exception. This is to date the best speaker I've tested from numerous speakers I've ordered from Amazon (I'm experimenting). The sound is crisp and clear, the volume acceptably loud (no, it's no blaster, but it does well), and this is the first speaker I've seen with "zero rumble" (ie, it plays at normal volume without the bass line rumbling the speaker). I am very pleased with both price and performance on this product. The fact that it comes as a PAIR with very nice looking speaker grilles, mounting hardware and generous wire is icing on the cake. I bought this from VMinnovations, received it faster than expected and in excellent shape, so 5 stars for both product and merchant.

Wow, so I ordered these on thursday night on amazon from VM Innovations and by saturday they were here. As far as the actual product goes. I bought these speakers to replace a blown factory speaker. These are 2 way speakers so the sound quality is good, especially for the price. Install was easy for the most part. I hade to drill some holes in the mount from the factory speaker mount in my front door. I have only replace one so far and you can definitely hear the difference. These are absolutely worth the price....BUT understand that these are not Alpine speakers that will blow your car away. For that you would need an amp, and if your gonna buy an amp, your not gonna pay 20 dollars for 2 speakers anyway. These are excellent replacement speakers i hope to upgrade after christmas and use these to sell the car with. If you want amazing sound and bass, get alpine, if you want 2 replacement speakers you have found them.

My mother-in-laws puppy destroyed the speakers in my older 57" HDTV. My problem was that the TV works great still but to replace the speakers was going to cost a small fortune. So, I decided to order these and hope that it did the trick. Well, they worked. Actually, they work better than the original speakers ever did. I hear sounds in movies that I never noticed before without turning on the surround sound. I know they are intented for automobile use, but they work just fine for my TV too.

Sound fine behind a 200 watt amp, just a little 'tinny', but I'm thinking a simple equalizer adjustment should help. All together, bright, deep and louder than I'll ever need. Perfect for a budget racing sim build.

My left speaker after i installed it correctly, and got a second opinion on it. It did not work. The speaker was defective.

If you want sound these will work. Don't expect to be rocked. These won't do it.

Put these in my cadillac deville. They are not the right size as they do not fit in the mounts (I checked multiple websites and this size was recommended the most) but the plastic was thick so I drilled new holes and they work fine. Who can complain about going up a size if it works. They hit the highs and mids well.

I put in my toyota yaris for my sony explode 52wx4 rms cd player and they sound fine and work well. I'm assuming 50w rms speakers cause they seem to work just fine with my deck. If your looking for a cheap upgrade these are ok but personally I would spend alittle more a get a nice set of 4 way speakers. It would be nice If they would say what the speakers are actually rms at.

Sind zum vorgegebenen Lieferdatum angekommen verpackt waren sie super gut und alle dabei was man zum Einbau benötigt. Optisch machen sie ein guten Eindruck. Auch die Klangqualität ist überzeugend die Höhen und Tiefen kommen sauber rüber auch wenn am mal das Radio lauter aufdreht kein Übersteuern oder unangenehmes Kratzen.
