This is one of the loveliest and long-lasting artisanal soaps I have used. It smells like a spring meadow and really relaxes you when in the shower. Even the scent left afterwards is so soothing. It is very high-quality, made in France, with organic shea butter, which soften the skin. It leaves skin soft, and your mind refreshed. I love the ingredients and the effectiveness of this soap. It had a gentle later and leaves me feeling ready to face the day.

I purchased this soap five years ago. I got this along with a couple of others and they seemed to dry my skin out a little bit so they were put in the "good soap" box and , not on purpose, forgotten about. Well, today I found that box and to my surprise there was a MILK soap. I immediately tried it....OMG it is still fresh smelling and oh so very creamy and lathers up so rich and thick! What a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of this soap. I am so mad at myself for not already using this, and I am so very happy that it is still in perfect shape. It doesn't dry out my skin but leaves it soft and hydrated. Now I am a forever customer. I am in no way suggesting that you keep this for years before using it. I am just letting you all know that a big mistake on my part has led to a stunning discovery. What excellent soap. This Pre de Provence Artisanal soap, milk scented is the absolute best. I read that it does have milk in it not just a fragrance. If your wondering if it is a good buy, well yes......yes it is. I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I am right now!

We love this soap. It’s pricey but the bar lasts forever unlike other products. The scent is pleasant and foams up nicely. I feel clean and confident using this product. The soap is gentle yet effective. Bar is rather large and heavy so I do drop it occasionally but it doesn’t break. You can order smaller bars though.

I’m a 57 year old woman with eczema. Pre de Provence artisanal soap bar are the best for my skin. Olive my favorite. I’ve tried many bar soaps over the years, I always come back to pre de Provence. Trust me. You can’t go wrong with this brand. The bar is large, which I really appreciate. It lathers well and does not dry my skin out. The olive bar didn’t have much of a scent, but some of the other scents are amazing. Lavender smells soo good and is slightly exfoliating. The price is fair based on the size of the bar and how long it last. I highly recommend and I’m a loyal customer.

Love this soap. I got the Sea Salt and it smells so good. It isn't strong which I prefer. I got the large one and have been using it for 18 days and still decent size for two people using it. I sit it up on the ridges on the soap holder and dries nicely. It washes off clean without any soap residue and skin isn't as dry as before. I plan on trying the Verbena and others too. No issues with shipping or product damages. Update: It has been a month and my soap is still in one piece. Yes it is much thinner but it still suds up well.

First the pros and cons of the soaps in general: Pros: long lasting, gentle on sensitive skin, all fragrances are inoffensive and mild; quality ingredients, vegan Cons: fragrance wears off long before the bar is used up, bar turns mushy easily so divide into thirds and use a soap dish. Quality and price vary widely based on seller. I’ve received some old and damaged bars That’s unscrupulous Amazon’s fault, though, not Pre Provence’s. Bars from authentic sources have been excellent 100%. Pharmaca dot com and many natural markets carry these soaps for better prices and are authorized retailers. Fragrances: Rose: natural mild rosewater a bit weak, herbal exfoliating bits are unpleasant *** -Coconut: just like freshly cut coconut **** Verbena: clean cooling citrus with hint of mint and no sharp tones ***** -Raspberry: green, light white floral, orange? and a tiny bit of fresh picked raspberries, which actually have very little fragrance unless cooked *** - Sage: light herbaceous nice for unisex or men **** - Milk: if sheets were washed with ivory soap and Burt’s Bees Baby wash and line dried in clean sunny air ***** - Green Tea: herbaceous, clean, light jasmine note - Amande: Marzipan, gourmand without juvenile sweetness ***** - Lemon Blossom: 80% unscented and 20% scented with lemon and mint. Maybe a good idea for people who hate fragranced soaps, but still want to smell nice *** - Argumes: smooth mix of lemon, grapefruit, and maybe lime, clean and lightly sweet. Good for anyone. ***** - Wildflower: light and clean mix of lavender, bergamot, mint, herbal scents, white flowers, slight powdery note. Good. **** - Sandalwood: subtler sandalwood than most and isn’t as resinous good for unisex - Rosemary: herbaceous, smells like rosemary, cooling, deodorizing, a bit stronger than the others *** - Lime: True lime fragrance balanced with a touch of grapefruit and an herbal note to keep it from being too bitter. **** - Mirabelle: pleasant clean fragrance with a bit of floral and some citrus. Light and mild ***** Mint: peppermint’s more chill cousin. Very light scent, clean, pleasant. -Honey almond: real honey with almond exfoliate. The fragrance is warm and barely sweet. - Lavender: Mellow lavender without the medicinal overtone some can have, clean, herbaceous I hope those were helpful. It would be helpful imho, if people would add the color/fragrance/size, etc of a product and describe it in a review. Otherwise. It’s not much help.

Nice but fragrance very soft

The exfoliating bits leave my soap dish really messy but the smell and longevity of the soap makes up for it.

I am a fan for life! This scent is amazing and so is every other which I have bought from this soap maker
