Solid and well made. My husband loves it. It also smells lovely, nice rubber finish. Very heavy-- solid 100 pounds. He started lifting it right out of the box.

I usually dont complain but definitely the smell is over powering for a small or even medium gym on arrival. I'll let them air outside maybe wash em down too. but ultimately still worth it, the handles are indispensable and the rubber grip is awesome to haul and move the beasts around. Pinched my finger on normal 100lb plates enough to make sure I'll always use these if I have a choice. Prob grab some more too.

Only had it for about a week now, but definitely am happy about purchase. Like all plastic/rubber plates, it does have a noticeable smell, but it seems to dissipate with time. Has a nice, sturdy rubber coating. I also had to have a plate with grippable handles, unlike my bumpers that are a pain to deal with. Best price I could find, and works as well as any other weight.

Great for a beginner. Excellent quality. Its a 5 lbs weight. Can't really hype it up that much.

Great weights for any Olympic bar! These are great and have held up for many months now. The handles make the use of them very easy. The only downside to these weights is definitely the rubber-chemical smell... It is best to store them outside or clean them before use, but after the first few weeks they are fine and well worth the money.

I purchased these plates as a 300lb set from Amazon that included an 7' olympic chrome barbell back in 2010. This year, I purchased two additional 10lb plates. I have yet to find a more egonomic style rubber plate for the price. There is certainly a premium for these plates, so shop around and look for deals. But in the end, these plates are so worth it. Yes, they do have small cosmetic imperfections in them, but overall are quite nice looking. The comfortable grip is what I love the most. The smell is initially strong, but it goes away within a month. I recommend washing them with dish soap and then coating them with a rubber conditioner. To make these plates perfect, I carefully used a dremel with an ultra fine sanding tip to smooth away the excess rubber trim on the inner side of the handles. Now the plates are even more comfortable to pick up and hold. The bar that was included with my set is decent quality. The only negative with the bar is that the knurling is slightly smoother on one end compared to the other. It is not a huge deal, but something I do notice.

The box's where obliterated and they unserimoniouly dumped them on my front walk way so delivery was rough to be expected I guess. Once I tore what was left of the box's off them was when I encountered them being covered in something oily making them very slippery so I was forced to carry each one with two hands to keep from losing grip I assume that will wear off and they well be easier to grip. Apon inspection of the plates there are some cracks/ tears in the rubber coating not sure if a defect or damage from delivery. There definitely some beefy plates well suited for me. All 4 plates have some damage to them looks like from shipping.
