I have been using hair fibers for a couple of years. My hair started to get spots where it was becoming very thin on top. I used to have a hard time trying to conceal them until I got a tip from a hairdresser I used to go to. Although I have used a few brands, I really like this one. The color matched perfectly and the fibers are very 'lightweight'. I have also mixed colors to get the right shade if I have changed or touched up my color. In my opinion all these fibers will start to 'cake up' but are fairly unnoticeable if you add a little more where it separated. You could also brush it out as much as possible, then reapply (if not shampooing). This is a great product that I will continue to use forever!

Hi, I’m not one to write long reviews but I’ve been so self conscious about my thinning hair I decided to give this stuff a try. I’m heading on vacation and didn’t want to look back on my photos and stare at my scalp showing through. I’ve never used a product like this before but I figured for the price it was worth a try. I cannot attest to its holding power or how long the bottle will last but as you can see in the photo it really does help. These pics are moments apart an untouched. Hope this helps..

I had the worst experience that could be imagined. I was using the product and suddenly the top with the little holds came apart and every bit of the fiber was everywhere. I had it all over me my bathroom sink cabinets counters floors just every where. I had to rinse my nose with water because stuff went up there. My nose and throat burned all day. I had a headache and generally felt terrible. I was so excited about this product but now I would be afraid to try another one. By the way it was the entire bottle that spilled.

This stuff is really cool. Due to having dreadlocks having my hair pulled tight in different directions, I developed bald patches on the top of my head which became very embarrassing to me. I always wore a headband to cover the bald spots, and now I don't have to!! It is easy to use, and works almost instantly.

Overall, I guess it kind of makes your hair look better if you sprinkle it over already somewhat dense area, but otherwise it kind of just shakes onto your scalp and initially slides around pretty easily...you can take your finger and easily push it around on your scalp. As you can see in the picture, after a while it clumps together, which makes it look a little obvious you have some product in your hair. If you shake it onto an area that already has a decent amount of hair, it does look thicker. I have used Hairology in the past and that product sticks to the hair much better and is a much finer powder (maybe the pump technique works better than this shaker method.) Overall, this is not the worst product, as it kind of does its job, but it doesn't work nearly as well as I had expected or compared to an alternative product I've used in the past.

Price, color, amount is good. However not as good as other similar products. Fibers are too “gluey”. Since product is a bit sticky, hard to maneuver on scalp.
