Typical quality Hikvision NVR. Using the plug-n-play camera function, just plug in IP POE Network Cameras, one at a time, and this NVR assigns IP Addresses to them and displays them. Best to use compatible cameras such as Hikvision, H.View etc for easiest setup. Menu system is easy to use and comprehensive, and allows for manual camera setup, although not as easy as plug-n-play. 4K cameras display very well via the HDMI monitor port, and two HDDs can be fitted internally to give maximum recording time, while extra HDD can be connected externally. Plenty of on-line product support available. So far very pleased with this NVR and hope it gives years of service.

Had a few issues with it from the beginning. First of all dont buy it from amazon warehouse, it was locked to an existing account. couldnt access it, had to call and wright to Hickvision, they helped me to reset it, but it was a right pain in the rear. Secondly dont buy it if you are new to CCTV. it has very very complicated set up procedures, difficult menu. It took me long time to set up cameras and NVR correctly and I am no stranger to hardware, software instalations. By default cameras do not perform well at all, you really need to fine tune them, espetially for nightvision. This plug and play thing in description got me confused. I heard that Hilook system is of similar quality but much easier to set up Now on the positive side once set up it works as intended. HDD was easy to install. No issues with recording and vieing it on my PC downstairs(have NVR in the attic).Seems very reliable. Software is a bit dated and not intuitive in my opinion, but works. Software for the phone is really crap after the update. It wont allow you to view 4 cameras simultaneously!!! Really! Bottom line is i suppose leave it to professionals to install and set it up for you

Great piece of kit which is a vital part of our cctv system. Price very competitive.

No hard drive installed. This was not made clear. However, had an expert to set it up as my existing cameras could not be connected by myself. He used the old hard drive and installed into the new box. All working well now. Hope it lasts more than 4 years like the original.

Shame it doesn't include a hard drive!! - but reasonable price anyway. The interface can be infuriating and requires lots of tweaking to understand exactly what the best settings are for your needs. All in all though, good value and a good bit of kit.

Cant view on any web browser and the mobile app just gives error codes. loads of people searching for how to make these things work and none of them seem to succeed. Sorry I even bothered

Got this as part of my cctv install and it does exactly as required would have liked it to come with an hardrive for the price

You can only use the local view or app support but there is no playback for browsers. The addon is out-dated and will not run on modern browsers. (I tried replacing the Annke NVR with this but it's actually the same product under the hood.
