Bringing the Wii into the 2020s
Super easy to use and install and brought new life to a retired Wii. Now that I have a 5 year-old gaming Mario fanatic, this made connecting the Wii to a 4K TV with a surround sound receiver nice and easy. Granted, the output is 1080p in tv resolution, but is NOT upscaled. The actual resolution is still 480P but it's at least scaled to fit the full 65 inch screen which makes Mario Kart, Party & Galaxy an enjoyable experience. Picture Quality is excellent and looks like a straight digital source with no conversion. Audio quality is good and reaches all speakers, sometimes in surround depending on the game. No additional power necessary as it's powered by the Wii's AV output port.

Works just as described
This thing is so useful and nice to have. It allowed us to use our Wii on our new smart TV which is otherwise not possible. The first time I placed the order, it got automatically cancelled without explanation. The second time it came right away. I highly recommend.

I love it
I recently got a smart tv that only has hdmi connections and I bought this for my wii and it works great. The picture, sound and quality are great so i bought a second one for my other wii

Rescue!!
I was definitely disappointed to find that after years of storing my WII I could no longer use it with my new fancy TV. This adapter was a $$ saver for sure. I received it in a few days and there was no fuss to install it and play games. Yay!!

The Wii needs to the last thing power on.
We initially thought that this didn't work, but once we realized that we had to turn on the Wii after we turned on the TV it worked great.

Does the job
Just picked up a Wii to use during shelter in place. Unfortunately I didn't realize it wouldn't be compatible with my tv. A quick search and found this converter. Works just as described!

Worked for a moment.
This worked for a moment and had a very clear picture. Unfortunately it then started to blink like crazy and got super hot. Have to return it and try another way.

This improve everything!
TV quit finally, got a fancy new TV, then could not get WII to full screen and picture was terrible. Got this and connect to HDMI, and everything is better now. Very happy.
