Hi. Can I store olives without damaging the bag?

these are paper bags, so I think anything wet would soak through. I used mine for a dry powder

Approximately how many tablespoons of a powder would fit in the smallest 3.5x5.5 bag (or 4.7x.7.8 size bag if you have that one - please specify)?

I put 6 slightly heaping tsps in mine and would not be able to fit anymore. I had to close it slowly so nothing squeezed out.
