Great water pressure meter for home!
Fantastic meter. Easy to attach to the water spigot, turn the water on and the two arms spin around to the water pressure level. When you turn off the water - the red line stays put as the black resets. Easy to see the level after you unhook it! Love that feature! No leaks and speedy reads!

Works great. Don't skip this necessary step!
My advice - DO NOT replace a water heater/regulator/expansion tank without ALSO getting a pressure gauge like this! I replaced that stuff in January and had to shut off high outdoor faucets to keep them from freezing. So I didn't use this to do a pressure check until the weather warmed up. After leaving it active for several days, the telltale needle on the gauge told me the system pressure, which I set to 50 psi, had actually spiked to 100 psi! Turns out the brand new expansion tank I installed was faulty and wasn't allowing the water to expand. Very Bad for the entire system! Got a new tank, checked again and all is well. Get this gauge or similar, and leave it on your system for a week or more to ensure some failure combined with a particular sequence of events doesn't over-pressure your system!

Works fine, no leaks
I got myself a couple of these, as I needed to see what's happening with the water pressure at my house. I needed to adjust the pressure-lowering valve for my house, so they helped me get to the right setting after a few days of leaving them connected to outside faucets (overnight). Thanks to these, I learned just how big of a pressure spike our water supply produces at night. Kinda scary, the max was about 50% above its minimum. (not supposed to jump this high, based on what the well company says...) In any case, neither leaked, both worked just fine and the readings were consistent.

This Pressure Gauge could save you lots of $$
Our house had water leakage which came from a Hot Water Heater, that was over pressurized. Our plumber showed on his gauge to be around 150 psi. The old pressure regulator was no longer working, hence the high rate of pressure! Had new regulator installed and set to 55 psi. Now I check the water pressure myself so I know ahead of time if there is an issue with the water pressure. It is reassuring to just put this pressure gauge on the hot water heater drain valve to check. The last thing anyone wants is a leaking issue with a hot water heater because of too much water pressure! This gauge is so easy to use, just a minute and you know what the pressure is. So easy to screw on to the water outlet. "CARBO Instruments" is a quality company I trust! PS If checking your water pressure saves you a hot water heater or water damage, than it is so worth it!! For peace of Mind, I totally recommend it. PS As an ex pipe fitter, I can't think of being without this device.

No weather proof!
These work great and have been incredibly helpful in documenting pressure spikes in my system. However they are not water prod or even water resistant. I have 3 of these and all 3 are full of moisture from some rains yesterday. Hopefully they dry out in their own. I’ll put some plastic over them moving forward.
