Great introduction to historical landmarks for my 6 year old grandson!

Very well written, presenting key highlights of the long history of China with clear facts. I read to my children age 8 and 11 and they enjoyed learning about their heritage.

My 8 year old son loves the 'Where is' / 'What was' series of books. They're still a little advanced for him to read on his own, but he loves to read with us and asks lots of questions. We have found this to be great bedtime reading.

It's one of my top picks for teaching geography with story. Beautiful map of ancient China was there. Within a week my kid and I completed reading it without losing our interest.

I buy many series of this to gain more knowledge for my nephew. I think it is worth it.

Its a very well written book. Very well illustrated and explained in detail. Pictures can be colored, to make it more interesting for children. There is scope for adding one more short chapters.
