Great little carving knife
Fantastic little carving knife. Sharp right out of the box and ready to work. The blade holds an edge well and it works great for a variety of tasks. Love this brand and all the purpose built tools they make.

Ukraine, first quality products
The best dollar value for carving knives for wood and soap. To even come close, you need to spend almost 3 times as much as you do with Beaver craft. Thus Beaver craft has always been my to go knives.

Good handle, nice grind.
I like the size and shape of this knife. I have been looking at it for a while, and finally caught it on sale. It’s well made, and I really like the handle. It was the second tool I have gotten from beavercraft that needed work on the edge before using it. It’s a good smaller blade that is a good edition to my carving tools.

did not receive a sharp one
The description says it is razor sharp but mine was not. It had coarse grind mark on blade and would not bite into a basswood carving I was doing. I worked on the edge with 1000 grit diamond stone, then 1000 and 1500 wet or dry on a glass plate. Then started stropping till I had a polished edge. need to work on it some more as it is still not a sharp as my larger Beavercraft blade.

Decent blade if handle was adult sized.
I gave it to my daughter as part of her tea set, as the handle appears to be designed for a child. Tiny, tiny handle.

The Knife
It has a very nice type of metal that doesn't chip and the blade handle is amazing.
