UGREEN Aluminum USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter

Just what I needed for my new laptop which didn't come with an ethernet port. Worked great straight from the box and seems to be of good quality too for the price. Easy to use so would recommend this product.

The adapter features a beautiful, space-grey aluminium casing that not only looks and feels premium but also does an excellent job of dissipating heat during use. It feels incredibly durable, and the braided cable adds to the sense of quality. There are also helpful LED indicator lights on the body that show connection and activity status at a glance, which is a thoughtful touch. Ease of Use: Truly Plug-and-Play The best part was the setup: there was none. I'm using Windows 11, and the adapter was recognised and working within seconds of being plugged in—no drivers, no software, no fuss. It’s the definition of plug-and-play. Its small size makes it incredibly portable, and it has now earned a permanent spot in my laptop bag.

Bought this because I needed a wired internet connection on a device without an Ethernet port. Plugged it into the USB port, connected the Ethernet cable and it worked straight away. No messing around with drivers or settings. Connection has been stable and it’s a much better option than relying on Wi-Fi when I need a solid connection. It’s also small enough to throw in a laptop bag without taking up any space. Simple bit of kit that does exactly what it’s supposed to. Very happy with it.

I bought this item in an attempt to increase the speed of connection into my smart TV. Unfortunately it did not work. I don't see any failure being attributed to the product or company at all it was a risk I was willing to take. It is most likely a TV USB issue or perhaps a driver one. However I have now used the product to connect my router to my family's Switch. The product feels robust. It does not feel like it is ready to fall apart. Very simple to use and have seen the speed increase as it states with listing. I would recommend this product for laptops and for games consoles. For the price, it is worth trying if you want to try on smart TV but like me be prepared for it not to work.

UGREEN’s products have an increasing reputation for quality at an affordable price and this little USB-C Ethernet adapter does not disappoint. You simply plug an Ethernet cable into one end, and stuff the other end into a USB-C port on your laptop (or phone or iPad) and bingo! You’re connected over Ethernet to your network. Ethernet connections tend to be faster and more stable than WiFi and this let’s you take advantage of that. It draws a tiny amount of power from your laptop so no external power supply is required. Two small lights on either side of the Ethernet port discretely show you that you’re connected and that data is beings transmitted/received. It’s a solidly built bit of kit that weighs barely nothing so you can easily carry it with you. It also looks pretty stylish, matching the “space grey” of many Apple products. Style points, UGREEN. I would have liked a slightly longer cable, but this is a minor point. Just be aware that it’s only 1GB so if you want 2.5GB or 10GB speeds, you’ll need a different adapter, but for most people, 1GB speeds will be absolutely fine.

So far so good. Used it in conjunction with an otg micro USB y cable to replace the original fire stick Ethernet adapter to get round the 100mb cap. Had it connected to my eero 6e satellite node via Ethernet but only got 54mb. Now getting 300mb. Very happy

Fantastic! I have an old MacBook Pro Retina from 2013 that I've added Chrome OS Flex to. Those old Macs have an issue with connecting to any WiFi with a password and luckily I'm using it at my desk and my kitchen breakfast bar, where both have ethernet access. I plug this in and I'm online in 15 seconds. Fantastic product as usual from UGreen.

Ich bin mit dem UGREEN USB-auf-LAN-Adapter wirklich sehr zufrieden. Ich habe ihn gekauft, um meinen PC bzw. Laptop unkompliziert über USB mit einem Netzwerkkabel zu verbinden, und genau dafür funktioniert der Adapter hervorragend. Die Einrichtung ist angenehm unkompliziert: Adapter in den USB-Anschluss stecken, LAN-Kabel anschließen und schon kann es losgehen. Gerade wenn am Gerät kein eigener Ethernet-Anschluss vorhanden ist oder der vorhandene LAN-Port Probleme macht, ist so ein kleiner Adapter eine wirklich praktische Lösung. UGREEN gibt für entsprechende Modelle eine breite Kompatibilität mit Windows, macOS und Linux an. Besonders gut gefällt mir die stabile Verbindung. Im Vergleich zu WLAN habe ich mit einer kabelgebundenen Verbindung einfach ein wesentlich besseres Gefühl – gerade beim Gaming, bei Downloads oder beim Streaming. Die Verbindung bleibt stabil und es gibt keine typischen WLAN-Schwankungen oder Probleme durch schlechten Empfang. Auch die Verarbeitung gefällt mir sehr gut. Der Adapter ist klein, leicht und wirkt trotzdem hochwertig und robust. Dadurch kann man ihn problemlos dauerhaft am Rechner verwenden oder auch einmal mitnehmen, wenn man unterwegs einen kabelgebundenen Netzwerkanschluss benötigt. Sehr praktisch sind außerdem die Status-LEDs, über die man auf einen Blick erkennen kann, ob der Adapter bzw. die Netzwerkverbindung aktiv ist. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist für meine Zwecke ebenfalls absolut ausreichend. Wichtig ist natürlich, dass die tatsächlich erreichbare Geschwindigkeit immer auch vom verwendeten USB-Anschluss, dem Router/Switch, dem Netzwerkkabel und der eigenen Internetleitung abhängt. Der Adapter selbst ist jedenfalls eine sehr unkomplizierte Möglichkeit, einem Gerät einen kabelgebundenen Netzwerkanschluss hinzuzufügen. Was mir besonders gefällt: Man bekommt hier keinen unnötig komplizierten Schnickschnack, sondern ein kleines Gerät, das genau das tut, was es soll. Anschließen, Netzwerk verbinden und loslegen. Mein Fazit: Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Der Adapter ist kompakt, ordentlich verarbeitet, einfach einzurichten und sorgt für eine zuverlässige kabelgebundene Netzwerkverbindung. Gerade für Laptops, PCs oder andere Geräte ohne eigenen LAN-Anschluss ist er meiner Meinung nach eine sehr praktische Lösung. 5 von 5 Sternen – würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
