Nutritious and delicious for my dog - she loves it
This is a great dog food for my mini Aussie. She loves it - it has all the nutrients you need and she eats it up. She is a picker eater and usually eats Fromm. This works well and we feel good giving her food that has vital nutrients.

My dogs love it.
My small dogs love this. We use it as an adjunct to kibble to boost the taste. One part Ziwi to three parts kibble. Yes it's expensive but don't your furry friends deserve it?

The greatest food for a small senior dog who has trouble biting into those hard foods.
I’m so grateful for this dog food. My dog is very tiny and the 1 pound bag option is so wonderful. because of the 1 pound bag option I can afford to give him a variety… Very important who wants to eat the same food every day every meal?? He only has a few teeth and he can eat this without a problem. Such a great thing for senior DOGS but he loves it as well. it works great for both of us. I’ve been looking for something for him for years thank you so much. !

This is a quality dog food!
We use Ziwi Peak as a topper to accompany Just Food For Dogs meals. Our 65 LB Golden Retriever loves it, the bowl is always licked clean! Also, it seems to be really gentle on her stomach when it's time to go out. I would definitely recommend Ziwi Peak for the quality because it's definitely not the price!

Great to use for training, but...
I've been using Ziwi Peak off and on for the last two years. At first, I thought I'd use it as my primary dry food, but with two dogs (a Sheltie and a standard sized Aussie), the cost is prohibitive. My dogs love it, though, so I compromise and use it for training. Unfortunately, there's so much that gets crumbled into really small pieces and decimated into dust in the bottom of the bag, that I've spent a *lot* of time picking out the whole pieces from the mess in the bottom third of the bag. If you're using this for training, you have to do this or your bait bag will be nothing but crumbs and dust, and your fingernails and hands will be covered in it (I. HATE. THAT.) The upside to this, for me, anyway, is that I use that wastage as a sprinkle topping for my dog's Kongs and lickimats, and sometimes for their dinners, so none of it goes to waste. The downside, though, is that there's not enough whole pieces in a bag to justify the $20+ price tag for training rewards. I estimate that I consistently can only use about 1/3 of a bag for training. You can dehydrate a lot of chicken for the same price, and without a whole lot of convenience coming with that price tag, what's the point if you then have to spend another hour + of your time sorting kibble from dust?Having pointed all of that out, my dogs do seem to really enjoy this food, so I'm at the point that every once in a while, I break down, buy a bag, and then spend an hour sorting it. I wish they'd make this in a more stable form for training treats (I suspect shipping causes a lot of friction in the bags of food in-transit, which then causes the breakdown?), or even find a way to make the product more economical, because I'd use it as our primary dry food.Overall, it's a quality product, and judging by my dog's affinity for it, they love the taste and would like more. They find it very palatable, and as a primary food source, you can feed less Ziwi Peak than you do traditional kibble as it's (supposedly) a more efficient food. My picky eater prefers this over other options when I have some in my treat pouch, so I try and hold that back for her. While I won't be keeping this on-hand as a staple item for my dogs, I will continue to purchase more (but only when I run out of dust for enrichment items!)

My picky dogs love it!
My spoiled dogs love this food, it’s one of their favorites if not their favorite dry food!A lot of foods don’t contain organ meat and our pets’ health really benefits from it. I love mixing this with stuff like Orijen Wholesome grains kibble. My pets definitely eat the Ziwi stuff first tho.

Dog is on strike
I gave it to my Yorkie Poo, and now he won't eat his Carna 4. He is on strike. I don't know how long he can hold out. It's very pricey. I was surprised how little the bag was for 30 dollars. Should I just give in and buy it? I will give him another day.

Your dog will love it
My dog loved it more than other brands! I mix it on top of the honest kitchen for senior dogs, which at the beginning she was happy to eat but after 1 month she got bored! Now she eat it all! I’ve seen reviews mentioning powder inside the packaging, but I haven’t seen any in my 10 packs!

Helped clear our dogs very sensitive skin.
We started using Ziwi after a recommendation for our dogs sensitivity to other dog kibble and treats. This is what we were told:-Ziwi is air-dried food which has no carbs in it, so is much better than a kibble. At first glance, it will seem extremely expensive - but you will use much less of it than a kibble, because it is much more dense, calorie-wise and has no fillers in it. (For eg, our dogs (Labradors) would eat 3 quarters of a cup of kibble, and when on Ziwi, they ate a quarter cup of Ziwi per meal - which is much less than the calculator on the Ziwi website even says.)We took her advice and our Jack Russel loves the food and her sensitive skin has cleared up....bald patches have now disappeared and she has stopped scratching. we also use this as treats and incorporate that into meal times. It is expensive no doubt about that but we will continue to use it for now after getting such great results.
