Great sauce which I could afford more
This is an amazing sauce for a jar. It’s not overly salty or sweet, but it does have that creamy vodka sauce consistency that I think we are all looking for. It’s pretty expensive as far as sauces go so it’s definitely a special treat to order this, but compared to the old Hunts, canned spaghetti sauce it’s something else. I love the thickness and it just tastes like a real quality sauce with a decent seasoning blend and tang of acidic tomatoe flavor with an overall creamy blend. If only I had the money to spend I would buy this for all my spaghetti. Maybe when I win the lottery my cabinets will be lined with this sauce.

First time I had a vodka sauce and I was very impressed with this one! Paired it with chicken meatballs and penne pasta and was restaurant quality.

Why make your own sauce?
I married into a very Italian family, so the pressure of sauce is a real thing. I love my mother’s sauce and of course, my MIL’s. There was no jar sauce I liked, just maybe a few I’d grab at ShopRite to have on hand “just in case”. Some were decent enough to doctor up in a pinch. I happened upon Hoboken Farms a few years ago and quite literally have not used another sauce since. Our household favorite is the Vodka sauce; specifically love it on homemade pizza, Trader Joe’s Gnocchi or pretty much anything else. We recently started putting the Low sodium into the mix too - perfect for bolognese. It’s honestly a staple in our household favorite to help for a quick meal with any veggies, pasta or meat we have. Just like milk or bread. I always have multiple jars in the cabinet at any given time. The whole family is totally in love with it. Italians and all.
