Fantastic and well written resource for the Florida hummingbird and butterfly gardener - the pictures are gorgeous as well! So far the butterflies have come and hopefully with the advice and indicated plants in this book the hummers will grace my garden for a tasty nectar paradise! It helps if you live zone 10b and below - but there are many plants for the entire range of Florida

Very nice hummingbirds love it

This book is very informative about the plants in south Florida that attract butterflies, hummingbirds and other beneficial creatures to the garden. I attended an Extension Service presentation given by this author & was very impressed not only with his knowledge, but his delightful sense of humor, a bit of which comes through in the book. So, it not only makes for an informative read but an entertaining one as well! I chose to order this book on Amazon as it was about $7.00 cheaper than what it is listed for & for what it was selling for at the seminar.

A must for everyone interested in Florida natives. From novice to experienced, this book is for you. Its is my main guide every time I step out of the house. Roger Hammer and Craig Huegel have the best books for identifying native wildflowers.

Great illustration and description. Attracting butterflies and hummingbirds is my goal and this book is my asset! It is simple and gives just enough information that I can easily pick and choose the plants I need. Great for the novice.

This is the best book on butterfly gardening I have found for Florida. Very informative (all kinds of detail but not too wordy). Fantastic photos. If you are interested in butterfly gardening in Florida you need this valuable resource!

Excellent book for those of living in S. Fl. The plant life is different here and most horticultural books and newsletters don't address this subtropical climate. This is a wonderful asset to know what to plant to support the butterfly and hummingbirds in our yards. Pictures are outstanding.
