MCR Safety N9690 Ninja Ice Insulated Gloves, 1-Pair

I work with dry ice regularly on some of my projects, and I was getting tired of the painful “burn” on my fingers from the cold. Most standard work gloves just don’t cut it — they either let the cold right through or make it too hard to grip anything. I came across these Ninja Ice gloves and figured they were worth a try, especially at under $10. Glad I gave them a shot. They fit snug but not tight, and the inner lining has a soft, almost thermal feel that keeps the chill out without sacrificing dexterity. I can still handle tools, beakers, and even small chunks of dry ice without issue. No stiffness, no slipping, and I haven’t felt that burn since switching. For the price, these are a bargain — especially considering how well they hold up. Great value, waterproof, great protection, and outstanding performance.

These have greatly exceeded my expectations when I first ordered them. They were suggested to me by someone that has been using them 4 quite some time for working outdoors in cold climates. These aren't going to be as durable as a leather glove and they aren't waterproof but they do keep your hands fairly warm considering and as long as they fit you nice and tight you will be able to have pretty decent dexterity. Anyone that has worked outside in the cold knows that no glove is going 2 keep your hands warm when it below 20-25° out that's what my mittens are for but it's hard to do anything semi coordinated with mittens so these are my go 2 gloves for any weather/ temperature and they hold up pretty well. Dont expect them to keep your hands nice and warm, that's not what they're designed for but they will keep your hands protected from the elements while allowing you to actually perform tasks necessary to do your job, they do adequately keep your hands warm but be realistic about what your buying and you'll probably be blown away by these gloves.

Needed gloves that could handle oil and cold temperatures of 15(f) degrees. The gloves did great: I had no oil on my hands, they were warm, and better yet the gloves were not expensive. I do not know if these are rated to handle oil, but they did great for me. My down votes are I needed a 3xl glove and could only get 2xl, so they were tighter than comfortable. Also, I don't know if these are washable. I used a bit of Dawn dish detergent and "washed my hands" while wearing the gloves as a way of cleaning them. Durability is too soon to rate other than to say so far so good.

I'm probably not the typical customer for a pair of high-grip insulated ice handling gloves, but I'll give you a rundown regardless. I purchased these to safely handle dry ice pellets used for my wife's cold-capping therapy. (Cold-capping is a process where someone wears a super chilled helmet-like covering to lower the temperature of their hair follicles to protect again chemotherapy-induced hair loss. Most cold-capping products, like the Penguin-brand cold caps we use, require dry ice to chill the gel to an appropriate temperature.) The gloves are durable and well insulated enough to protect my hands against direct dry ice exposure for a reasonable amount of time. I can hold the pellets and move them around into the bags I use to pack the cooler the cold caps are stored in without any issue as it takes longer for the dry ice to chill my hands than it takes me to move the ice. The high-grip surface remains completely flexible and crack-free even with extended use and repeated dry ice exposure. Once the cold-capping therapy is over these gloves will still have a ton of life in them and I intend to donate them to someone locally that can use them in a similar fashion. Great product!

These are my favorite winter gloves, they can get wet a bit , get cold a bit , and them hands of yours will stay dry a lot a bit! They are pretty thick so sometimes you may have to take them off for certain things. Quality has always been good though! They fit like a glove.....on top of that they are comfortable! They will last all winter too, very durable.

"Ok" for warmth while working inside an enclosed space, but NOT warm when working outside if there is a 10 MPH wind present. I bought these last spring, but had to wait until now to post a review. I wore these gloves while working in my backyard last weekend (11/20/2016). The weather that day was partly sunny, temperature high of approximately 32-34'F with 10-20 MPH winds. The gloves fit good throughout the palms, slightly long in the fingers with the wrist cuffs being slightly tight (most likely since it was the first time that they were being worn for an extended period of time). These are coated gloves and provided good grip on the yard tools that I was using. The real problem was with the wind. It seemed to blow straight through these gloves, thus sucking out the heat in my hands. My hands were almost number after 15 minutes of outdoor work. They seemed to react exactly like a pair of neoprene gloves that I used a few years ago for outdoor winter sports. These gloves seemed to be "ok" while I used them inside of my garage (working on vehicles). I can't recommend these gloves for outdoor use. My search will continue for a much better alternative outdoor winter working glove.

I work at a commissary and work in a freezer as well as a chill cooler. These gloves makes being in them a lot more manageable. They are not over the top amazing for the freezer because with enough time my fingers start to freeze, but I can be in there a good 10-15 minutes moving cold boxes and step out for a few to thaw out. In the chill cooler it is not as cold so they keep my hands warm. They felt a little loose/ might fall off when I first started using them, but within a week, I got use to them. The material is nice and I have yet to feel water seep through the gloves, from the ice melting. Also a I left them out and a co-worker used them for a second and mentioned later how they felt good and kept their fingers warm My advice if you are just moving boxes or things around they are good (easy to slip on and off) but if you need them to be extremely secure (to not fall off) get ice gloves with a strap on the wrist part.

I use these at work when I am in a freezer that is -30. The are the absolute best ever!!! They fit great and have just enough grip material so I don't drop things. The frostbite protection is the best I have found. I definitely recommend these gloves.

these were just what i was looking for. they are so durable. i run a truck for a construction store. and delver tons of drywall. and these gloves grip everything, and they have yet to tear on splinters, or jagged metal or anything else. plus they are super warm. they are a fine in snow, but still get wet in slush or water since they arent solid rubber, but that is just normal on any gloves like this. the inside liner is also in very well so i havent had the inside pull out at all yet. they are definitely worth the price in my book, and i tried a lot of gloves.

These gloves are super comfortable and warm. They have a really good grip. These are perfect for renovations during the fall, winter and spring. I don't recommend wearing these in the summer as they get really hot and sweaty and they smell bad afterwards. My first pair lasted over two years which is really something as I go through those cheap gloves within a couple of months. I will definitely buy again!

I use these in the freezer at work, they do the job just as you’d expect. They’re gloves.

My husband was not a fan. I like the construction of the glove but it does not keep your hands warm.
