Regalo Extension for Safety Gate,White,4 Inch Wide

I bought the 38.5 inch Regalo gate, but it didn't quite fit where I needed it to. I bought this extender and it works perfectly. It fits in seamlessly with the rest of the gate and doesn't reduce the sturdiness or strength of the whole unit at all. Worth the purchase if you need a wider gate!

I have 3 Regalo baby gates and they are very sturdy and easy to install. I needed an extension for one of them. This extension is perfect. So easy to use and I now have the baby gate up! Thank you!

I foolishly thew away the extender for my baby gate, then moved to an apartment with a wider hallway. Perfect replacement for the original.

This fits our model exactly right, we just had a slightly bigger door frame, and needed something to add a few inches, but not too big like other extenders. I'm so glad we found this! The first one that shipped never arrived, but we got a second one shipped as a replacement for free, which was great. We're grateful for it now that baby is moving all over the place!

We had an extra wide hallway that we wanted to section off from our 4 dogs and the Regalo Safety Gate was the perfect height and had great reviews, unfortunately it was just a bit too short. So we ordered this extension and it worked great. Pros: Color Match to original gate Sturdy construction Easy install Con: When the gate gets too wide the mating parts begin to buckle a bit, meaning that the gate isnt straight. i used a clamp to straighten it between the extension and the main gate. I believe they have since modified the design to include a slip that goes over it to keep the two pieces straight and aligned, so just check that out before purchasing this. Other than that it was functional, matched the color and style of the gate and was worth the money.

I just moved into a new place and had a ton of baby gates, but my stairs in the new place are wider than anywhere I’ve lived before and I thought I was going to be stuck spending $100s on new gates. I had the gates and found they did the 4” extenders and these now fit perfectly! $10 each is a bargain compared to having to buy the extra wide gates. They easily slide into the ends and they are definitely solid and look streamlined with the rest of the gate.
