I bought a different make from a different seller and in order to seal the lids I needed to tap the edges with a hammer (advice from the seller). I then could not open them at all! These lids seal easier and I can open them too, so these are a win.

This bucket is perfect for soaking laundry because the lid makes it safe to use around toddlers.
