Prefect little riding boots good value

Lovely well made riding boots.

These boots are lovely quality and look great but I ordered a size 5 and they are very tight considering I only take a 4 1/2 normally. I’m trying to expand them a bit as they are leather so should give a little.

These arrived quickly. I'm size 5, 38 - they are absolutely the right size for me, not too small as another reviewer has stated. They look sturdy, extremely well-made, the leather is lovely and smart plus they are a very good price. Others have said they need breaking in - they definitely do. However, I tried what someone else said:Stuffing the boots with lightly dampened newspaper overnight renders the leather pliable. Next morning, remove paper. Then wear boots indoors all day as you go about your business. Wear with thick or think socks, depending on the fit required. The boots then dry out overnight and, Voilà: You have a pair of bespoke fitting boots.They feel much better already!Recommended.

Although they are quite hard to put on they are very comfortable when riding and are ideal for beginners. The more you wear them the more they losen up, which is good

The boots look good and are nice and deep for fitting chunky socks in the colder weather. However, length wise I'd recommend ordering a size up. Photographs are a comparison between the size 13 boot and my daughter's current Toggi boots (which claim to be a size 11 but are more of a 12!) and her size 12 Clarks school shoe (the chunkiness of the boot makes it look bigger than it actually is in the photo compared to the shoes).

I just needed a pair of shoes which would withstand rough city streets and consistent foul weather. These have done the trick, and continue to look sharp with no special care. They are not easy to break in and require wearing for several weeks before they can be worn with comfort. I recommend roughing the sole on the first wearing, by scuffing on asphalt or rough concrete to avoid slipping, as the sole is a bit slick.Overall a great pair of boots and fantastic value for the price.

Die Schuhe sehen sehr gut aus und deutlich hochwertiger, als der günstige Preis erwarten lässt. Leider fallen die englischen Größen viel größer aus, als bestellt. Ich hatte gr. 33 bestellt, die Schuhe sind mehr als 1 cm länger als "normale" gr. 33 Schuhe, daher kann ich noch nichts über die Qualität im Verlauf sagen, die können erst in Zulunft getragen werden
