What is the best way to keep the statue clean and free of the elements when put outside. I live in Florida so cold is not a factor just the sun,rain

Manufacturer has some care recommendations, but I just hose it off when the birds are rude to her. Otherwise, nothing special to do. Extreme heat and cold will affect the material she is made of, and therefore, she won't last forever. It's a pretty piece while it lasts.

Mine fell only twice in very high winds, but it wasn't affixed to anything to mount it. I would think filling it would render it susceptible to rot.
