Great tomatoes questionable packaging
Good tomatoes you can’t go wrong with these. Perfect for marinara sauce, pizza sauce, soups, chili etc. That said, A couple cans arrived dented due to bad packaging. One is really questionable really crushed but not leaking surprisingly. Please fix the packaging it’s rediculous to not package appropriately

Real fresh tomatoes you will love
These tomatoes are best brand I have ever tasted. Many years of cooking with can tomatoes. I have never found one really taste like home canned fresh tomatoes till I found this brand. The value for the money is far cheaper than canning your own fresh tomatoes . I would never again can my own tomatoes. Fresh taste for my dishes is the key to have a delicious dinner. My husband can’t get enough of the sauce I make with these. They are a good a “Savory favor. And a winner every dish I will always buy this brand in whole. Purée and crushed and also the tomato paste. Don’t miss out on this price either. I promise I have been cooking for 60 yrs and these tomatoes are a “ WINNER “”. Will always buy them. None surpass them

Great tomatoes, but they show up damaged most of the time.
Fantastic tomatoes. The only downside is that 90% of the time the cans show up dented. Amazon is great to make things right, but I wish they could figure out a way to ship non-dented cans.

Dented cans
Great product. Wish I could still buy near Cambridge Massachusetts. This is the second time thought that I have had 3 cans dented. Packaging should be better.

Delicious
I know these are pricy but wow. I made my sauce and these tomatoes make a huge difference in taste. I didn’t need to add as much seasoning. These canned tomatoes smell so fresh and are just so delicious. Highly recommend, and it’s worth the money. Your sauce will taste so much better.

Crushed Cans
I ordered crushed tomatoes, not crushed cans. I’ve been buy Sclafani tomatoes every couple of months, and I have yet to receive a shipment without dented cans—and it’s only gotten worse. Here’s the most frustrating part: the single-layer cardboard box always arrives in perfect condition. You’d never suspect the contents were damaged until you open it. That tells me the cans are being purposely packed that way before shipping. All it takes is a tiny puncture for the tomatoes to become contaminated and potentially unsafe to eat. This was the last straw. I’m done—I’ll never order Jersey Fresh or Sclafani tomatoes again.

Real tasty tomatoes
I have used Sclafani crushed tomatoes for dozens of years. I bought them from my local supermarket in NY. 5 years ago when I moved to Florida, the supermarkets didn’t carry them and I was making terrible pasta sauce. In order to make a good sauce, I had to buy San Marzano tomatoes from Costco. Then one day I decided to see if I can find it on Amazon. Imagine my surprise that I can order my favorite crushed tomatoes. I have been buying the 12 pack case and enjoying the tasty pasta sauce ever since. When you open the can, it is a rich thick red sauce. It smells and tastes like real Jersey tomatoes. Not sour and with a slight orange look like other brands. The 12 pack is not available at this time and I’m hoping it is brought back.
