How does the LTE work?

LTE works as a wireless extension of the parent phone. Essentially having the fuctions of that phone while it can even be powered off or left home while on an extended run, didn't ancestors front the phone not an issue. It does not have the ability to call the parent phone, since it is serving as a wireless extension. The S2 did have the ability to call the parent phone thus serving as an independent phone unit. No "smart " watches appear to have this ability any longer.

It can connect to your phone via bluetooth, doesn't have to have its own line. Why would you want to pay more for the LTE version and not connect it?
