One word....AWESOME! Yes, it is pricey! BUT, totally worth every penny. I have purchased a crib sheet, bib, and a few 4-pack 100% cotton muslin swaddles by the same maker and I could not be more satisfied with all of their products. This blanket feels soooooo good! Some of the things that I absolutely love about it are: 1. Soft - very very soft...feels dreamy to the touch. 2. Nice weight - Unlike the feathery swaddles, which I also happen to love, this particular blanket is made up of many layers, which gives it a nice weight, yet it is not too heavy that it will pin the baby down and not allow her to move. She has been sleeping under this blanket for about 5 days now, and I cannot believe how much better she sleeps, both at night and during the day for her naps. I think the softness and the weight of the blanket really comfort my baby, and she snoozes away peacefully for loooong periods of time! 3. Large - although this blanket is quite pricey, it is rather large. I justified its purchase by convincing myself that she will have this blanket for years to come. My 4 year old niece loved snuggling underneath it and she is average height for her age, so I will definitely get my $ worth. Another reason why I love its size is the fact that it keeps my little girl covered at all times. She loves to turn a lot in her crib and no matter which direction she goes, the blanket stays on her - I don't have to worry about her being cold in the middle of the night while I am out sleeping! 4. Breathable - My little girl tends to be pretty clammy most of the time. She overheats easily and so the last thing I want to do is load her in fleece pj's and cover her with a polyester or another fleece blanket during these winter months. Granted, we live in southern California, so the temps don't get nearly as low as in other places, but my husband and I sill don't like to use the central heat in our house too much and in worst case scenarios, we do not heat our house past 72F. This blanket keeps our munchkin very warm and cozy. I like to layer her in a cotton onsie, followed by a cotton one piece pj with footsies and then I cover her with this blanket. PERFECT! She has been sleeping through the night beautifully, has not overheated, and is not cold...just perfect! Makes me feel better knowing that her skin is able to breathe in all cotton attire and covered by a cotton blanket. 5. Great design - I purchased the Star Light pattern in pink, which is absolutely beautiful. The image on the site doesn't do it justice. It is actually much nicer in person, with the circles being nice and vivid colors. All in all, I absolutely love this blanket, my baby LOOOOVES this blanket, my husband even is sold on it even though he was very annoyed by the price, so I no longer feel guilty paying $50. I would highly recommend this blanket to any parent that is looking for a healthy alternative to polyester fuzzy wuzzy blankets!

Plus, because they’re so lightweight and breathable, I don’t worry about my baby overheating, which is always a concern with other, thicker swaddles. I’ve used them as swaddles, stroller covers, nursing covers, tummy time mats, and even an emergency burp cloth (because, let’s be real, babies are unpredictable). We love that this is top quality cotton and soft! Our son is OBSESSED with it, cannot sleep/nap with out it and it gives him comfort (along with mommy) whenever he gets hurt. He will drag around the house so I wash it pretty frequently. Washes very easily and stains come out nicely. Size is perfect for our almost 2 year old. It has some cushioning so if he’s in a footed pajama this blanket is sufficient warmth for our 72 degree apartment. A little pricey for our budget but so worth the quality and what it gives our son! No regrets!

My daughter has Caden lane bedding but they don't make a toddler bed sized blanket for the bedding. Now it should be stated that my daughter is in love with the bamboo earthly blankets that are just a single layer. We have used them since she was born and she lives and dies by her blankies. However, when I tried getting different blankets for her toddler bed she was not happy one bit (I think I went through 5 other blankets). Finally, I ordered this blanket thinking that it's the same material so maybe she would like it. She not only likes it but she loves it. I can see more of these in our future. One for school, one for grandma's, one for a back up. I have never been disappointed with Aden+Anais. I always give their blankets as baby shower gifts. The Dream Blanket is great bc it's getting cold here and this is more layers of the classic style. Also, it fits a toddler bed well. So warm and soft... and yes, I'll admit I've used it a few times as well to snuggle up while we play. So far I wash it about once a week and it washes really well. The only thing to remember and this is with all Aden+Anais items is never wash with anything that has velcro or it will stick the the fabric and tear it a little.

I have had my eye on this blanket for quite some time and finally decided to purchase it for my son (7 months), who loves his aden + anais swaddle wraps (especially his cozy swaddle wrap with the fish). I wanted to find a blanket that my son can grow up with and use year-round. It's nice and big and has the quality I expect from this brand. It's also super-soft and thick, right out of the package, but I love that it won't over-heat my baby. The reason this model costs more than the others you might be looking at is it actually has 6 layers of muslin, as opposed to the other dream blankets with only 4 layers. It is called "extra warm and cozy" on the packaging. This brand's "cozy" line of swaddles and dream blankets is higher quality, thicker, and softer than the classic counterparts. This information isn't clearly expressed anywhere I have looked so I hope it helps anyone looking at these products. If you're looking for the softest, thickest muslin dream blanket, look no further!

My baby loves to sleep with a blanket. He's a binky and a blankie boy! He sleeps so much better with a blanket too. The older he got, the harder it was to keep the blanket away from his face. It worried me ALOT. He's always slept on his back, but recently started rolling over in his sleep. I'm terrified of him suffocating so I wanted to find a blanket that he would love to cuddle with but if need be, he could still breathe thru it if he got tangled in it somehow. This blanket is perfect. It's big. It's breathable. (I tried it) and it's still soft and cuddly enough for him. He sleeps with it every night and I can go to bed with less worry on my mind. I know my baby is safe and getting a good nights rest. I know the price is shocking (it was for me, anyway), but well worth it. Can you really put a price tag on your baby's safety or your sanity? The answer is "No", btw!

This is actually the second of these that I bought. With every Aden and Anais product I've bought I've looked at the price, wondered if it was worth it, bought it anyway, and then am so incredibly happy with it. I have followed that pattern with the swaddling blankets and bibs that I loved and now with this dream blanket that I adore. I needed a blanket for my older toddler who has outgrown even the XL sleep sacks. This has been a great blanket for him. It is very large and the perfect size for an older baby who is still in a crib. Like all Aden and Anais products it is also very soft and seems to get softer with washing. The first blanket I bought was the older style giraffe pattern. I was excited when I saw this elephant and star pattern when I came back to get a second for when the first is in the wash. The pattern is adorable both modern and whimsical so it both great for a child but also something that I like. Overall I am exceedingly happy with this blanket.

As a mom of 3 I swear by aden and Anais products!! We have bought close to 10 packs of the swaddling blankets, burpy bibs, and wash cloths by aden anais between 2 different kids. They hold up really well even after years of abuse, i feel super safe using them, and they are the softest blankets ever! My 4 yr old has been using them since he was born and still sleeps with a bunch every night, to the point i had to buy 3 new packs for my new baby , since he wouldn't give his up to pass down. This is our first Dream blanket and I know it would be the last, this is my favorite blanket for my baby to use and his favorite too!! i love that its as soft as the swaddle blankets but thicker especially for winter months. The monster pattern is too cute! I hate when we have to wash it since we only have one, I plan on buying another very soon. It is a little pricey so you can't have a drawer full but It is one of my top ten must-have baby products for sure, and a go to baby shower gift ;)

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to for this. I wasn't sure about this blanket mainly because of the cost. It took me ages to actually go ahead and buy it......however I am very happy I did. Its just gorgeous. My wee man loves it and so do I. Everyone who has seen it has also commented how beautiful it is. Its very soft and cuddly plus the monkey design is fab! I would highly recommend it as one of the best blankets for babies. You won't be disappointed.......I can see I will end up having to buy another!
