Excellent read for a child who loves basketball and the NBA. Matt Christopher includes numerous facts and details of the player’s life. My son enjoyed reading this book and several other NBA player books available by the same author.

Seriously, thank goodness for Matt Christopher. My third grader is a reluctant reader and finding books that really interest him have been crucial. Matt Christoper's books are awesome. Not only does my son enjoy reading these books but my husband and I want him to keep reading aloud because we're so interested in the topics! You rock Matt Christoper!

Great book for basketball lover My Son is 8 and he loves it! He’s not a big fan of reading but likes to read about subjects he enjoys so he’s been a reading machine with this one

I purchased this for my 8 yr old grandson. He's a huge LeBron fan b/c his Dad went to the same high school. He read 60 pages the first day and finished the book in less than a school week. I'd say it was a hit! As a teacher, I've been aware of the Matt Christopher books for a long time. They are quality reading.

Christopher does an amazing job of writing books for boys at that difficult age when it can be difficult to get them interested in reading. Of course his fiction is a go to item for boys ages 8-12, but with this book and his other biographies, he even keeps them captivated with nonfiction. My son's school recently began requiring a certain amount of the assigned reading to be nonfiction, so Christopher's biographies were a life-saver for me. My 10 year old sports fanatic loves them, especially this one about his favorite player, LeBron James.

Very interesting and well written. I've used it twice in my public school home teaching! Recommended!

Grandson loves anything basketball

This book is great! Matt Christopher knows how to write a book geared towards the new reader. Great book for your little on that loves basketball and learning to read. Or for yourself if you aren't the best reader.

This was a birthday gift for my 9 year old grandson and by his interest in it as he opened his gifts ,I would say it not only caught his attention ,it gave him the interest to open and read a few passages before continuing to open his other presents. He wanted to know where I found this book and were there more books like it.

This is great book for kids under age of 12 and is very easy to read, as well as interstesting for young kids to read. Very happy buy.
