Watch Out Paper Towels and Sponges!
We ordered these because they claimed to be a good alternative to using paper towels. Read all of the reviews and thought we'd order a set "and live with them a while, then leave a review". That was more than seven months ago, and we're still going strong on the first two of the set of four. These "cloths" (they are thick-ish, like the thickness of fleece, but kind of spongy as well) are as absorbent as can be... if I spill a small or large amount, they seem to be able to take it all-- at least three times their volume; and after they are squeezed out, they absorb even more. When they are totally dry, if we have a few largish (1-2 square inches) drops of water on the counter, we can just use the corner and it sucks the water right away. It was after the second month with these that I realized we'd gone all of that time without finishing the roll of paper towels (that was half gone when I started using them) we had in our kitchen. I use one of them for washing dishes, and because they are pliable and somewhat "grippy" I can get into all of the nooks and crannies for an excellent job of hand-washing of glass and ceramicware as well as cutlery. I don't know how these things are put together, but after more than half a year, they haven't torn or started to break apart despite the fact that all of our dishes are hand washed with this item. The other one is used for spot cleaning spills on the floor... sometimes with a bit of a scrub needed if something was spilled but not noticed until later. Each use, it picks up the debris and sops up the liquid. It cleans with a squeeze of soap and a few squishes in the hand under running water. I saw that the product is marked down and hope that they aren't going to stop making it due to stalled or reduced sales, because if the sales are slow it is only because the product is so well made that it lasts a long time! I still have two more that are unused in the cupboard, and there are a good couple of months' life remaining in the ones currently in use. If you are looking for a long-lasting and hard-working product that will reduce your reliance on paper towels and dish sponges, look no further. The Skoy Eco-Friendly Cleaning Cloth is worth every cent.

great product
durable and work great! love them and save paper towels! Update... I bought these 6 months ago. These are even better than I imagined and thought when I first did this review months ago. I can highly recommend this product and I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. I just pool a little water in the sink and a few drops of dish soap and hand wash them and they clean nicely. Then rinse them. I have never had a sour smell from them. They dry pretty quickly also. BUY THEM!!!

This is an amazing product!
I purchased a package of these cloths almost a year ago. This is the one I use in the kitchen EVERYDAY! It looks amazing, doesn’t it? I use it to pick up spills, clean the stovetop, the microwave, inside the fridge, coffeemaker, cabinets, sink. I find it lives up to the hype, it’s easy to use and I wash it in the dishwasher. I can definitely attest to the fact that you will use fewer paper towels. I have given these to family members who also enjoy using them. Again, I purchased these last August and this is what it looks like after daily usage for almost a year. It’s soft, great quality and you’ll be impressed.

no orange
These cloths are AMAZING! However I really wanted an orange one for Fall (& football season) and this pack did not have an orange one. Disappointed.

These are the ones you want!
Update: Since purchasing these Skoy cloths the first time, I have tried a few other, cheaper brands of what was supposed to be the same product. And what I've learned is that the other ones are cheaper for a reason; they do not perform as well or last as long. If you haven't tried a European dish cloth before but are considering it a go, save yourself the stress and spend a little more for Skoy. I have come to greatly prefer this kind of cloth over any other material for washing dishes, wiping down counters, and general cleaning tasks. They are a lot more substantial and protective to my hands than an average woven kitchen towel or dishrag. They don't feel weird or sticky on my fingers and collect massive amounts of lint in the laundry like a microfiber towel. They perform similar to a sponge, but are much more flexible and easy to control. In effect, they work like the best of all three combined. And they are very easy to clean and dry between uses, so they don't get funky or stinky. A new or freshly-laundered one, soaked and wrung out until almost dry, is even great for things like dusting, or polishing glassware. What they are NOT very good for is an accidental spill. In their dry state, they don't have the absorbency and flexibility for a fast, "emergency" mop-up. For those, I'm still better off grabbing a rag or paper towel. For everything else though, I'm hooked!

Great for the kitchen and everyday cleaning
These Swedish dishcloths have been a great addition to the kitchen. They are very versatile and work well for wiping counters, cleaning spills, and general everyday use. I like that they are reusable and easy to clean, which makes them a more practical alternative to paper towels. The 8-pack is also very convenient to have on hand, and they hold up well with regular use. A simple and effective cleaning solution for the kitchen.

GREAT. Sturdy. Last forever. Easy to clean. No odors. Soften in water.
Bought a couple packages over several years. Sustainable, natural, strong, simple, plant-based, soften in water. Prob compostable, if they ever wear out. These were GREAT as cleaning and dish cloths. So great that we got used to colors we didn’t like at all. They hold so much water, stand up to both hot and cold water, and don’t fall apart even with scrubbing (never tried scouring). We cut them into smaller cloths because they worked so well, we didn’t need the full size for anything. No odors, easy to hand and machine wash. No stains except for bright yellow quercetin supplement (like turmeric) that turns everything yellow. But even that mostly washed out. Each full cloth and piece lasted at least a year of regular use, just peeled and faded a tiny bit, but even the tiny peel-flakes stayed attached. We sadly had to give up on these when wood allergies (bamboo, birch, pine) got worse after prob alpha-gal chigger bites. We hope we can find organic cotton cloths that are this strong and helpful.

Great cloths
I love these clothes. They wipe up so much nicer than cotton clothes that leave more water behind. I’ve bought other Swedish cloths like these (for example, sold at Winners) that have pretty pictures on one side. They are nice to look at, but don’t wipe up that well on the picture side, due to the film over the picture. These cloths work perfectly on both sides.
