Very good backup camera system. The 7-inch screen is clear and the 1080P camera gives a sharp image even at night. Installation was simple and it works great for my truck. It feels durable and the waterproof camera is a big plus. Great value for the price!

Picked this up to give us rear-view mirror functionality in a cargo van without back windows. Installation was fairly simple, however I did have to cut the camera wire to route it through the existing cable path into the back door. Reached out to tech support first and they confirmed that it could be done, and said that even if I do end up breaking it, they'd send another cable at no cost. The splice itself isn't the easiest: there is an aluminum shield around the outside that is tough to keep intact when stripping the rubber insulation, and the 4 wires inside are very small. Still, there was plenty of slack (they give you like 50' of cable), so I was able to expose all 5 and twist & tape like ends together. I do wish there was a factory-supplied splice option, as many customers will need to do so for cable routing or just to reduce the cable length. While the wires are too small for wire nuts, Wago lever nuts would work well as would a terminal block. Obviously solder + shrink wrap is the best solution. Once the cable was ran, mounting the camera was straightforward. I took off the overhead storage compartment to install the screen upside-down where a mirror would be, and the screen supports rotation and remembers it's setting so once dialed in, it works perfectly. To power it I actually tapped off an existing 120v outlet using the vehicles built-in inverter (Nissan NV2500 cargo) and used a transformer with 12v output rated higher than the camera and screen (I believe I used 1a). This allowed me to turn the camera and screen off and on with a factory toggle switch in the dash. If I ever remove the dash, I'd be inclined to replace that with a dedicated toggle switch and fused DC feed. The image quality is good: standard def but not too grainy. I did notice that bright light sources such as the sun will turn black to prevent it from washing out the rest of the picture, and that it compensates for low-light conditions. I have not yet driven it at night so don't know how well the IR emitters work. Overall the camera has done it's job and tech support was quick to assist. The price was certainly right, so if I needed a similar setup I'd certainly buy it again.

I hesitated for awhile, but finally decided to purchase the TZ101 backup camera kit. When I received it, I think it worth every penny. The package include everything needed. The camera is all metal, very heavy and looks well made. The monitor also look high quality. And there is also a 67 inch cable, it is long enough for most cars. Installation is quite simple, the manual is very useful. It included a diagram shows clearly what to do. Before I install it in the car, I first tested the components in my garage and make a simple video. If you only have one camera, then hook the red(positive) line to the backup light power, and secure the black(negative) line with screw. This will power up the monitor when you shift into backup gear, thus only see the image when you backing up. If you want to install second camera, then connect the red(positive) line to car’s main power line(so when the car is turned on, it will provide power to it), then secure the black(negative) line with screw again. Now connect the blue(backup trigger) line to the backup light power. This will allow camera V2 to display on the monitor during normal driving condition, and switch to camera V1 when the car is backing up. The picture quality of the camera and monitor is very clear, it is much better than my old monitor. It is great upgrade. I would recommended it to any one who needs one.

Bought to use on my jeep for off-road spotting cameras. Works great. Solid build, all components needed included, instructions, though limited, are sufficient and is simple to adjust where needed. Gave 4 stars only due to the fact that the image flip/reverse function is ties to both camera inputs and cannot be set independently, so be aware that if you have one camera facing front and one to the rear, one image will be reversed when you flip between the inputs. It's a simple adjustment by button at the bottom of the screen, so not a dealbreaker, but a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, image is decent enough and the night vision function works better than expected, especially near-range.

I am really surprised how well this works. Mine went into a lifted and customized 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee which are kind of a pain to work on anything in the cabin but this wasn't too bad. I would imagine that other vehicles like trucks and RVs (which this would work well for due to its 20 meter cable for the camera) would be much easier to install and I actually am going to order another one for my F150. Since my jeep has almost zero dash space, I was planning on installing the monitor in the coin tray under the cig lighter and power outlet. I ended up leaving it loose so I can manipulate it depending on what I'm doing so even in my cramped space it worked out well. The cabling seemed good quality as I bench tested to ensure that everything worked and then tested several times during install at each step. The camera seems to work great with a very crisp picture and it's pretty stout. Mine ended up needing to be mounted up under a custom tube bumper due to the spare tire being in the way and the cable being run through the spare tire well that no longer houses a tire but offroad equip.. Lastly, I wired mine so that when the key is on, the camera/monitor turns on (acc). Easier install and it is on all the time while driving which is surprisingly handy in traffic.

Excellent camera. I am very happy with my purchase. I installed it on my Skid Loader. The screen size is nice and it was very easy to install. I definitely will be buying another one of these.

Unboxing this product was like opening my new iPhone. Very high quality packing and a great first impression. I have not yet installed my backup system, but my initial impression is good. The monitor (tablet style) looks to be well made. The camera appears to be exceptionally robust with good weather proof sealing and heavy grade metals on adjustment pieces. Cabling is sturdy gauge and appears to be adequate length but again I have not installed. The only issues I see is that the monitor housing appears to be a little flimsy compared to the high quality of the rest of the product and the same is true for the monitor mounting bracket. I wish they had used a thicker more flexible polyurethane for the monitor housing and the mounting bracket. The plastic they used appears brittle and may well break the first time it comes loose from the dashboard. These two issues are why they did not get 5 stars. Update: I still have not put my RV on the road since the back-up camera was installed, and it just failed. I estimate total usage time as less than one hour overall. On the monitor I get the backing distance lines, but no image. I carefully installed and waterproofed the backup camera. My second camera for right side lane changing still works well and looks beautiful. However I now have to uninstall the back-up camera and put another camera in its place. This is a big hassle. The product looks good, but apparently is not of good quality.
