HELLA H83145112 H7 12V/55W High Performance Xenon Blue Halogen Bulb Set

I just installed these after one of my Triumph's bulbs burned out. Great product and the white light produced enhances my ability to see. I drive my motorcycle to and from work and when on midnight shift it is important to be able to see ahead for any debris or animals along the roadside.

I bought a set of these for my Mazda Protege 5 after many, many Sylvania Silverstars purchased for it. Those bulbs would burn out VERY consistently after 12 months of use (every November...easy to keep track of). I had been using both the Silverstar and Silverstar Ultras: no difference in life.The Hella bulbs have only been installed for 1-2 months, so I can't yet attest to the longevity. However, the beam quality is exactly as expected:- The brightness and whiteness seems a perfect match for the Silverstar Ultras, meaning it's a bit better than the Silverstars.- The beam control is very good. It did not require re-aiming of the headlights (neither did the Silverstars). I can't tell that it is necessarily a "wider beam" (as they all advertise) but it definitely is brighter to the side just like it is brighter straight ahead.

OK for my car these lights are driving lights down in the bumper 12" from the ground. They are better than the stock Sylvania's in that they are a little whiter and brighter. For the price, they are very nice.

I have always liked Hella bulbs lots of light output, and exelent life span. I get 8 months with these but only 5 with silverstar bulbs. Crisp clean light!

Got these for my C350. The light is good and with good distance. Usually, non-OEM bulbs don't last long in Benz cars. But, I've had these for almost one year, which is longer than some other bulbs that I have purchased.

Great upgrade from factory halogen bulbs. Lots of beautiful ultra-white light. I just wish they lasted longer. Installed a set in my 2006 Mercedes CLK convertible. They provide so much more light than the factory halogen bulbs. But one burned out in 12 months, and we don't drive the car all that much. I wish they lasted longer. Makes driving at night easier and more enjoyable.

I initially was looking for a bulb with a bluish, bright white light emission. These don't replicate HID lights, but they are definitely a brighter bluer white than regular stock H7's which have a yellowish tint.One of my bulbs just burnt out today, and I went back on Amazon to order this again...I looked at my previous purchase date and I had purchased this item exactly 1 year from yesterday! So a bulb's lifespan for me is about a year. Pretty good value for the price.

UPDATE 10/14/2011:Another high beam/daytime running light bulb just burnt out - I won't be buying these any more.Bought these to replace my stock bulbs in my BMW X3, for both low and high beams. While they are a little brighter than OEM, they certainly aren't blue, in fact, they aren't really white either. They still have a lot of yellow in them, so if you are looking for a true HID xenon blue/white look, you are going to be disappointed.As the high beams double as the daytime running lights in my vehicle, that has already caused one of these to burn out in less than 1 year. Unfortunately, the Hella return policy is that you need to return BOTH bulbs in the package for warranty replacement.Getting to my bulbs is a PITA, so I didn't feel like removing the still working bulb to send it back, so I just ordered another set.For the price, how short their life is, and combined with Hellas return policy, I may shop elsewhere for replacement bulbs.

Both bulbs burnt out within 4 days of each other in less than 6 months.
