Awesome little gadget! Use to monitor my battery on my atv and run phone charger, gps ect! Works perfectly, easy set up and has been durable! Actually have bought another one since writing this!!!

I ordered this and a coolant temperature probe at the same time, and installed them in a few hours of work on my 1996 Honda Shadow motorcycle, which came with no instrumentation other than a speedometer and odometer (and a reset-able tripmeter). This device does three things: 1- constantly shows you the volts at the battery, 2--provides you two USB-type A charging ports for phones or GPS navigation devices, and 3-- constantly provides you the current outside air temperature at the handlebar. THE GOOD: The device is inexpensive, and for purposes #1 and #2 above, works great. I've used it for 2 weeks now, and about 800 miles of riding. It was pretty simple to install and wire-up, although that's a pretty big deal on my bike because you have to remove the seat, the gas tank, and both side cover panels, and undo at least the positive side of the battery connection / terminal. Since I was wiring two devices, this was a bit more involved. PS: My bike has had, for more than a year, a permanently-wired SAE "Pigtail" through which I can connect a smart battery trickle-charger. Battery tender, it's often called. That quick-disconnect connection isn't wired through the ignition key switch, so it is always available to charge the battery on a bike that's parked with the key out. I ultimately decided to buy another SAE Pigtail, a 6" long wired piece, to use to power these new gauges. So when the bike's being used, I plug in these devices. When the bike's parked overnight, I unplug the handle-bar mounted devices (and have the option of plugging-in my battery tender). If I wanted to do more work, I might have wired both of these devices to a switch through which I could "turn them off" without unplugging anything, if I wanted to kill the power to them when parking for a few hours, or parking away from home, but with no intention of using a battery charger in the next few days. THE BAD: This unit's air temperature sensor is fully exposed to the sun, so it reads unusually high during most of the daytime, when riding on roads that are not heavily shaded. It reads too high when parked in the sun. Also will show unusually high temps when parked or idling due to the engine's heat rising up and flowing past the handlebar where this unit is mounted. It is accurate, however, at night when moving or when the bike's been parked overnight and is cool.

Lasted 2 months. Screen went crazy. Terrible quality and no warranty with Amazon. I want a refund!

perfect for my application on a tw200 mounted easily in a spot out of the way and easy to see has 2 usb ports tells you the voltage and the outside temp but the temp is in C not F all so has an on off switch so its not draining on your battery when the bike isnt running but it doesnt draw anything for voltage I left it on for a week and didnt know it and it didnt drain a thing from the battery so no worries if you forget to turn it off other than the temp thing this charge port is pretty awesome

I use this device on my motorcycle handlebar. The voltage seems to work well but I read Fahrenheit not Celsius. Plus there were no instructions whatsoever with the device

Unless you know how to convert Celsius into Fahrenheit the temp gauge is useless. Elect cables are WAY to short but other than that the unit is just ok.

Simple and very easy to install surprisingly good product for its price with accurate voltage measurements and the charger charges your phone surprisingly fast
