WOW, what a difference this has made in my 14 year old diabetic pug. I thought I was losing my dog because he has been losing weight over the last couple months even though he has been eating his food. He has been showing less and less interest in his food as well and that is not like him. So I did some research and came across this product. He has been on it about 3 weeks and already gained back 1 pound. He has about 3 more pounds to gain back and he will be back to his normal weight. He has so much energy its like turning back the time on this dog. Its amazing to watch everyday. I think he can even see better if that is possible. He no longer has his chronic skin and ear inflammation (we had to stop his apoquel because is gave him dangerous diarrhea that he almost died from). I dont even need to stir in wet food to his soaked dry food to get him to eat. I just put 1/3 of the supplement on his food with a little coconut oil just to make it stick morning/afternoon/night and he just wolfs it down. He also is less painful with his his dysplasia and arthritis in his spine. He almost no longer drags his feet, and he can get up without assistance now. I am very impressed. My Mom is now trying it on her dog because her Jack Russell has luxating patellas and urinary incontinence. She is also 14 years old. She is on alot of pain meds and was still whining alot, and when walking she would limp. She couldn't jump off the couch or the bed anymore, and she is almost blind. She has been on the supplement 1 week and this is what we have seen. She can now hold her pee from 2-3 hours to 6-8 hours. Actually yesterday I slept 12 hours and she didn't even wake me up and she didn't have and accident. She can jump off couchs, and beds and she doesn't make any whining noises, or pain noises for a very long time. If you call her name she will actually look at you. So I think her cataracts are reducing some. I have also noticed she isn't running into things at all. She is now ingaging with other dogs and trying to play. She hasn't done that in 3 years. This stuff is a miracle product. It is worth every penny with this much change in both of the dogs, and there is 90 serving in the bag which is great. If it has done this much in such a short time I am excited to see what it will do after a few months. To bad they don't make a human version, because I could use something like this 😆

My dog has Megaesophagus. I'm happy that it is a mild case but keeping a good weight on him has always been a challenge. I took a chance on this I use one scoop a day in his wet food mixed with a little water. Not only has it helped increase his weight but he's kept it on. SO happy to have found powder. I now subscribe to this product.

Amazing!! I supplement my Great Danes food with this everyday. I had surgery last year and had to board my Great Dane for 5 weeks while I was in the hospital. I picked him up and he lost nearly 20lbs! After a month at home and using a supplement the vet recommended he still could not regain his weight loss. I started this and wow! The photos are after 3 months on this supplement. He now weighs more than previous because he has also gained more muscle mass. He acts like a puppy again. It's been about 8 months on this and it's amazing. Bonus, he loves the taste too.

Update: I’m going to be totally honest, this did not end up doing anything for our dog. She didn’t even gain a single pound while being on this for a full month. We had better results from keeping her normal feeding schedule, but switching to a high protein puppy food. It only took her about 2-3 weeks to gain back the weight she lost using only the puppy food. I would probably skip this one. I will update this review later when my dog has been on it long enough to see results. For now, this is based on my first impression. I have a 12 month old Great Dane pup who is underweight. If you know about giant breeds, you know it’s imperative to keep them slightly underweight as puppies because they grow incredibly fast. Any additional mass while their bones are growing rapidly can cause devastating life-long skeletal malformations. This isn’t our first giant breed we’ve raised, so we weren’t new to this. However, it’s normally difficult to keep them lean as they will eat you out of house and home if you let them. Unfortunately, with this puppy, it’s been a different story. She just is not that interested in food and never has been. She has no food motivation whatsoever and will only eat if she sees someone else eating. This makes things a little more interesting when we can’t have every meal at home. So, she has always been thin, but it wasn’t a huge concern for the aforementioned reasons. Now she’s just reached a year old and the bulk of her growing is done, so it’s time for her to fill out. We’ve been trying everything to get her to eat more because she is still growing, albeit not nearly at the same rate as before. Then she had her first heat cycle and became even less interested in food (this can be normal for some dogs). Unfortunately, that meant that she dropped more weight and became concerningly thin. It was no longer a few ribs showing, it was almost all of them plus some notches of her spine. It doesn’t help that she is still very much a puppy, and VERY active. We tried everything to get her eating more and gaining weight, but she kept growing, eating less and just wouldn’t catch up. As a last resort, I bought this powder. We’re on day 2 of use, and she has had no issues eating it all. I mix some low sodium beef broth into her food first, and then sprinkle the powder so that it sticks to the damp food. She needs 4 scoops for her size, and that’s a LOT of powder, so the broth really helps. We give 2 scoops for her first meal, then 2 for her second. The fact that she actually eats it and finds it palatable is awesome! It also doesn’t seem to be causing any stomach upsets, but will know for sure in the coming days. I’m excited to see if this works for her.

We went on vacation and left our dog at the doggy daycare for about a week. Every time we do this, he comes home and you can see his ribs. Clearly we need to find a new Daycare. I don’t know if they’re feeding him or not. But we bought this weight gainer to try to get him to gain his weight back fast and he had the worst diarrhea. He sleeps in a crate at night and when we got him in the morning, he had diarrhea all over himself all over his crate all over his bed. It was horrible. I would not recommend this for anybody. It’s a shame because it’s a great idea. It just doesn’t work for our dog.

I have 2 German Shepherd’s in the Philippines that has been neglected by their caretaker, my Male GSD who is almost 3 years old was down to 37lbs, looked like skin and bones and the Female GSD was worse, her legs would wobble when she walks, we have increased the amount of their food added meat to the kibbles, added other weight gain supplements that were available in the Philippines, they got a little better after 3 months but was still extremely underweight, I got desperate and bought 2 90 servings bags of this product before I went home last June, We started giving it to my dogs June 21 I was skeptical at first but after 4 weeks of using weight gainer my Male GSD went up from 44lbs to 66lbs and my Female GSD weighed 58lbs. They continue to bulk up and gain weight even though we are feeding them less than what we were giving them before using weight gainer, they never had any issues like diarrhea or refused to eat their food, I will be buying more of this and sending it to the Philippines for my dogs.
