I have recently purchased the Cadalabra lights, and I have to say it is worth every single dollar. The lights are very bright, and it was super easy to connect them to the app. The app has so many useful functions and different options for the light, including almost every color imaginable, dimness, and a variety of different modes and preset options. I connected them to my Alexa, and it has been super easy to control my lights with just my voice. These lights are worth it and I recommend to anyone looking to purchase smart lights.

In my smart home setup, I have Lohas and Tuya bulbs working via SmartHome and I issue voice commands via Alexa. The bulbs overall work well. They have low latency, are easy to set up, and have rich color. I have been running into one bizarre issue, however.The issue was how when I would issue a voice command to the room with both the Lohas and Tuya bulbs, only the Tuya bulbs will execute the command. What made this issue extremely bizarre was the Lohas bulbs would only not function when I command to change the color to white. They will change other colors in sync with the Tuya bulbs just fine. They will dim/brighten just fine in sync as well. But I can command to change to red, change to green, change to blue, but once I command to change to white only the Tuya bulbs will change and the lohas bulbs will remain colored.I managed to work around this obnoxious issue by creating a custom phrase for the rooms with both bulb brands to ensure they will actually turn white. Since then they’ve been pretty much flawless.I would rate the value for money more like 3 1/2 stars because of this issue. I assume all the bulbs are likely manufactured in the same plant, just sold under different names. I can’t comprehend why this was such a problem, but there is a workaround (albeit should be completely unnecessary).

These are nice and bright, and work well with the company's app. My only issue I have is that I couldn't figure out how to get them to work with the Alexa, so I always have to go into that app and adjust them there. Nothing more than a small irritant tho.I can use the app to make the living room lights act like a disco, the kids have fun with it dancing around but my elderly mother goes into seizure each time we set them this way. Reminds me of club 54 in the 70's.

Overall the lights aren't too bad for the price. I didn't have any issues connecting them with Alexa and being able to change to different colors is pretty nice. I do wish these came with a soft white (warm), but I found using the orange color and dimming it worked a bit to mimic it.LED bulbs are supposed to last several years, these however both went out within 5 months of use. They're used in my bedroom and I'm hardly in it so for them to go out so soon is quite bad. I did contact customer service and they gave me no hassle getting new ones shipped out. They just asked for some photos and my purchase order and the replacements arrived in 2-3 days.I would love to give the rating a 4 star, but I'm concerned that these might not last long as well. I'll change my rating if they last at least a year.*UPDATED*While customer service did provide me replacements when my original purchase failed after 5 months, the 2nd set failed after about 9 months. I think this has to do with how incredibly hot the base of the bulbs get. I ordered entirely new bulbs from a different company and the bases get warm. These LOHAS will burn the hell out of your hand. Anyway... Dropping to 1* and wouldn't recommend these.

I ordered these lights for my ceiling fan and they came the next day (that was great). They fit in my fan light kit with no problem and setup was pretty straight forward (though I am getting tired of multiple apps for all these different lights around the house). The white light was bright and the colors were good when I played around with them. I also got them to communicate with my Amazon Echo without too much trouble. They were slower in coming on than my other smart lights in the room, by a good second or two, but that was a minor problem. The first real problem I came across was that my light fixture needs three bulbs. I searched and searched on Amazon and could not find a single bulb (had to buy these in pairs) and I did not want to buy another pair. So I then took the lights out and while the area of the bulb where the light comes from was cool (as you would expect with LED) the base was so hot I almost dropped the light. I then put my old bulbs back in the light fixture and put the cover back on it and put up my step stool (a good five minutes). THEN I went to put these new bulbs back in the plastic bags to put them in the box and they were still so hot that the bag started to melt! I am leaving these out over night to cool off and I will be returning them as with that much heat, I am not sure they are safe (especially since they are not U.L. rated, as I found out later).

We're a Google household, not Alexis (sorry Amazon), but the bulbs do work with Google, too. Well, three out of four of them work all the time. One of the bulbs keeps loosing its connection to the internet. You can still turn them on and off with a switch instead of your voice. They aren't quite as bright as I had hope. Color choices are difficult to dial in. The White is that very hard, white light. I haven't found or figured out how to do a warmer tone. It turns out too yellow or too whatever.

I have these on our front porch and the larger standard lights on our back porch. They work really well and I love the app allowing you to schedule when they come on and go off each day. The color change feature is neat for holidays. We have the front set to purple and the back set to orange for Halloween. The kids think they are the coolest thing. Great product and very affordable.

I would recommended these lights to anyone who are looking for smart lights to work with Alexa. The setup was painless and I've had no problems with them since I bought them about a month ago. My mom has Feit smart bulbs and I can't count the number of times she's told me they've given her connection issues. I went with a different brand and I'm very happy with my purchase.
