Outstanding Photo Paper - Perfect Alternative to Glossy
I've been using various photo papers for years, and this one really impressed me. After trying countless glossy papers that always seemed to show fingerprints and had that artificial shine, I decided to give this matte option a try. What a difference it made! The picture quality came out absolutely stunning with rich, vibrant colors that looked natural and professional. The paper quality feels premium and substantial in your hands with excellent thickness that gives photos real weight and durability. The proper paper weight makes each print feel valuable rather than flimsy. Unlike glossy paper that can look cheap or overly shiny, this paper gives photos a sophisticated, gallery-quality appearance. I printed some family portraits and landscape shots, and everyone who saw them commented on how amazing they looked. The colors are deep and true to life, and there's no glare when you view them from different angles. What really sold me was how well it handled both color and black and white prints. My printer had no issues feeding the paper, and there were absolutely no paper jams or curling like I've experienced with other brands. The ink absorption is excellent and dries quickly, so there's no smearing or bleeding. Even fine details came through crystal clear. I'm definitely switching to this paper permanently. It's become my go-to choice for all my important photo printing needs, whether it's family memories or professional work. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're tired of the glossy look and want something with more character and elegance.

My first 5-star rating in some time
If you don't want to read this entire review, I would say that for color accuracy, texture, thickness, price, and drying time, this paper is excellent. I am using this paper on an Epson Expression Photo XP-8600 and it's OEM Claria dye-based inks. My general paper is Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster, followed by Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl for larger 8x10 and 8.5x11 prints. But Epson doesn't make that paper in 5x7, and the Ilfor can be hard to come by in 5x7. So I decided to try this Koala paper given it's cheap price. I tend to be pretty picky, and print via Photoshop, Photoshop manages color, with an ICC profile specifically for the printer and paper combination. My first concern was not being able to locate ann ICC profile for this paper. So, I just tested it using the same profile as the Epson UPPPL paper (sometimes, profile differences are miniscule). To my surprise, the very first print came out pretty well, fairly bright and with a small color tint. Now, this slight color tint was noticed by some family memebers I asked, but one sided with me on a slight green. But here's the run: the tint wasn't really noticably under 2 of the 3 light sources I used (cloudy natural light, LED balanced bulbs, incandescent bulb). My experience with the Epson and Ilford papers is also a slight tint, just a little less so than this paper. I find that most people are impressed and happy with the photo rather than criticizing color accuracy as I might be. The thickness and texture of the paper leave a positive feel, like a developed film print. Not the thickest paper, but still a professional feel. The shine/gloss is well controlled, suitable for without or under a glass cover. I ran some water under a print and it had no impact at all. Printed out some portraits and landscapes and I have no complaints. I'm probably going to buy a few more packs, maybe even letter size if I can find it. Well worth it in my opinion.

Great Fuji Crystal Archive alternative
I was wanting something on the level that a place like Walmart or CVS prints with, which is Fuji Crystal Archive paper (matte) from what I could tell in my research. But getting that paper is hard. In searching around, I found that this one was a good alternative. And it's working great for my needs! It prints beautifully on just my cheap Canon inkjet printer (approximately a $60 printer new 10 years ago). I've mostly been using it for art prints where the background is white and haven't tested it on edge-to-edge printing (since this printer doesn't do that) and still outsource that to places like Walmart. But for my minimalist prints where I can get away with it, this paper really increased my profit margin on my prints!

Not bad but not great
Pretty good paper. Had issues when I first used the paper, because I didn't read the directions correctly and my pictures came out all smeared and distorted. When I FINALLY figured it out, the pictures came out clear, however the quality of the picture could be better (and I have a very nice HP photo printer). Overall, it's an okay photo paper

Perfect product
Works awesome for home needs. Paper quality is good, not glossy, true satin. Thickness is fine too. Our printer prints decent photos on this paper (HP 7858). The size is accurate (we bought 5x7), dries in a minute. Would buy again when needed.

First Time Buying This Brand, Will Be Buying Again
This is the first time I tried this brand; they are pretty good quality for the price. The grain is very even, and the texture feels nice. The slight shine on the paper a nice touch but not too glossy that it would reflect light. The color is quite nice, and the ink dry instantly for me. You can tell which side is the right side to print on, based on the grainy texture. I have not tested the waterproof claim but maybe I will one of these days to see how well it holds up. So far the paper is great, no creasing on arrival or anything like that, so packaging was also good. I will definitely buy it again.

I picked up this Koala Ultra Premium Photo Paper to print some favorite family photos, and my first impression was that it feels much thicker and sturdier than regular printer paper. The satin finish gives the photos a soft, refined look. It is not overly shiny like glossy paper, but it still brings out good color depth and clarity. The images look vibrant without harsh glare, which I really like. Printing was smooth and hassle free. My inkjet printer handled the paper well without any jams, and the ink absorbed nicely into the surface. The photos dried fairly quickly and came out clean and sharp. I also noticed that the satin finish does a good job resisting fingerprints, which helps keep the prints looking neat when handling or framing them. Overall, this photo paper delivers solid quality for everyday photo printing at home. Results may vary slightly depending on printer settings, but once adjusted, the output looks polished and professional. For the price and performance, it feels like a good upgrade from standard photo paper, and I would definitely use it again for future prints.
