Worked for me!!
First I have received no payment or product for this review. I don't usually leave reviews but feel I need to for this product as I can walk normally again. I've never had foot problems prior to this but walked 11+ miles one day around the city as I was supporting a family member running the Philly marathon. Shortly after that day my pain started. I started having significant heel pain (plantar fasciitis) and it wasn't getting any better. I am on my feet a good amount during the day and also walk a couple of miles each day easy. The pain was getting to the point that I could not walk normally and something needed to be done. I ordered the insole PF arch supports from the major US foot people. No luck there! I used them for less than a week as it made no difference at all. (Pro tip - If you go this route for the ones that offer a money back guarantee be sure to save your packaging esp. the UPC bar code. Without this you'll be out of luck trying to get your money back if they don't work for you. Ask me how I know...) Next I ordered one of the PF bundles on Amazon. Foot stretching adjustable splint, spikey ball, and arch support bands. From the research I was doing my hope was that the stretcher was going to be my ticket to being pain free. First the spikey ball just plain hurt to use. Tossed that thing to the dog! The foot splint didn't really help. I just can't sleep with that thing on my foot. I inevitably would tear it off in the middle of the night and just hobble around the next day. Since this kit also came with the arch support bands I figured I had nothing to lose so I gave them a try. This DID provide some relief so I started to wear it continuously. After a couple of weeks it started to stretch out and the arch support wasn't quite what I needed. I went back to Amazon and found the Vive Arch Support Brace bands. I can't stress enough how well these worked for me. I first tried the Large gel insert and that was too much for me. I shifted to the medium and that was perfect. I used this configuration for over a month and since I was feeling significantly better I stepped down to the Small gel insert. I used this for the next month or so and was seeing continual improvement. Improvement to the point where there were days where I wouldn't even think about my foot at all. I then started using the band with no insert at all and am now to the point where I use it depending on how much walking I'll be doing on any given day. I've even walked the dog (usually 2~3 miles) a couple of times this past week with no brace and no pain. I still try and stretch my foot each morning before I get going and that also helps at this point. I has been a 8+ month journey for me and I'm still not back to normal yet but this is a huge improvement from earlier this year where I felt like I would never be able to walk pain free again which was very demoralizing as I like to hike etc. I would recommend the Vive Arch Support Brace to anyone who is suffering with PF. I used these initially even during the summer walking around the house. I just put it on and then put a sock over it since going barefoot was so uncomfortable. Basically if I was on my feet I had this on my foot. I scaled it back stepping down from the Med. to the Sm. gel over the course of 4~6 weeks each and have gotten to today. I plan on still using it selectively and hope to have this beat in the next couple of months. Its been a journey but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Vive Arch Support Brace has held up well and I have had no issues using it fitting into sneakers, shoes, boots etc. One pair of sneakers I have are pretty snug and I was able to use these even with those. Actually my foot probably felt the best with these as it was so snug and supportive. I usually wash them off in the sink once a week so they don't get too gross but so far so good... Best of luck and if you give these a try hopefully they work as well for you as they did for me.

Instant relief, some irritation
So this is not my first rodeo with plantar fasciitis: Stretching, ice, stretching, Ibuprofen, stretching, insoles, stretching, etc... While visiting my adult daughter she suggested I try her arch supports. (Not this brand) Wow, I got instant relief! Pain was not totally gone, but I could walk without limping and making those little grunting pain noises. At times I forgot I had foot pain. I could not find that brand, but these work great. As another reviewer mentioned, a little direction would have been good. I started out with the biggest insert but quickly found out that was too much so I back it up to the middle size. My only "complaint" is that I need to wear socks while the brace is on. This makes it even more bulky to wear with shoes. (A few pair of shoes I cannot wear when the brace is on...which is pretty much all the time!). When I wore sandals I left it off and the skin across the top of my foot was very irritated. There is still pain from the plantar fasciitis but because it is so minimized, I have not been doing my stretching as regularly. That is MY problem, not the product's! LOL I've only had these for about a month so I can't comment on the durability of the product.

Minimal Design, Good Support
I get Plantar Fasciitis pain that can be mild to moderate, especially in my left foot. The last foot support I used had an insertable piece like these, but they were designed like plates instead of these small cushions. Over time, the plates would lose the curve that made them supportive, so they stopped being effective. I've only had these for a few days so far but I really like them. The inside of the bands has a grippy texture, so once you adjust it to where you want it, it's not going anywhere. This also means that you can make nice micro adjustments to where the silicone gel insert rests against your foot to put it exactly where you want it. Also, I love that the exterior of the band is all the same material, which means the velcro will grip onto any point, making the size really adjustable as well. It's really supportive. When putting them on, I actually underestimated just how much support they would give. I tried out the Large sized inserts and found them far too much for me, but I think they'll be great for others who need more support. Once I put in the mediums, and strapped the bands tight, my feet felt great, and my pain was gone. I love the design of these because while other designs seem supportive, a lot of them cover more of your foot. As someone whose feet get hot, especially in the miserable summer months, I like less of my foot covered. Perhaps also because of the minimal design, the price was reasonable - especially for something with different insert options. I don't know how long they'll last, but hopefully it will be a long time. When they do wear out, I'll update this review.

Must be appropriate for intended use
I requested a return of the item. It is not appropriate for my issues. It looks like a nicely made item, but usable only for those who needs an arch support.

These handy items saved my summer!
I developed plantar fasciitis this summer, (too much barefoot walking), which is the kind of pain that will really ruin a vacation. So, I've been on the seach for items to help me deal with it. I tried a hard boot and hated it, so I switched to a soft boot -- which is comfortable to sleep in -- but have no arch support at all, so not very effective. Also, wearing it caused pressure on my heel, causing it to hurt. (Note: Make sure the straps aren't too tight.) Putting my thinking cap on, I set out on a search through Amazon-land to find items that might correct those issues. I came up with a winning combination. First, the Arch Support Brace by Vive (two to a pack), can be worn with most of my sandals, and are even useful when I'm barefoot. I love them so much that I bought a pair for two other people who are also suffering with PF, and boy were they grateful! The soft boot is: "Comfort Dorsal Night Splint for Effective Relief From Plantar Fasciitis - Small / Medium By MARS Wellness," And the heel supports are PROFOOT Plantar Fasciitis Orthotics, Women's Size 6-10 (1 Pair), Inserts to Help Support & Cushion the Heel & Relieve Pain. Using this combo, my plantar fasciitis cleared up in two weeks, and I believe it's because I actually wore the boot at night and the braces during the day AND night; (something I wouldn't have done if they were uncomfortable). I still wear the combination of these items at night, just to make sure I don't backslide! NOTE: I wore the braces so much that I developed blisters! Using some Tubagrip (Tubigrip Tubular Bandage Size D, 10M Box (2 Pack)) fixed that right up. Also -- be careful to use the right level of density inside the Vive braces. They come with three sets of little silicon pads that fit in a pocket in the braces, that let you control the amount of arch support. Pick the most comfortable sized pads until you can increase the arch support without pain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Last note: I also found some amazing flip-flops created by an orthopedist, Vionic with Orthaheel Technology -Tide II Flip Flop Sandal. They have great heel cushioning and serious arch support. (They may seem hard at first but they soften up and feel amazing.) I walked all over New England in them this summer with zero discomfort!

Wore them for a ten hour shift, they didn't move a centimeter.
I've always had very flat, painful feet but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I am also very sensitive to different kinds of socks, shoes, and soles, so I've tried arch supports before but given up because I had to readjust them, or they couldn't provide relief while I was sleeping and my flat feet were hurting. These don't move while I'm wearing them and I can use them while sleeping! I use the large inserts while I sleep and the medium inserts while I am on my feet. But if you don't have a high pain tolerance I'd recommend starting with the small inserts to see how you feel. Wearing them while I sleep has alievated some very deep, aching foot pain I was feeling for YEARS. Wearing them at work has seemed to help with my posture, back pain, and certain knee/hip problems I've had in the past. They're the most adjustable yet firm arch supports I've ever used-- you can adjust where they sit on your foot without them moving, the inserts come in nice sizes and densities, and the compression level is completely up to you. I'm planning on ordering a few backup pairs so I can rotate them out. I have worn these braces 24/7 since they arrived last month because my feet are EXTREMELY flat and have been in so much pain for years. I've never felt this kind of relief before. Maybe you have a different kind of flat feet than me and these won't provide you the same relief they've given me, but I think it's worth the time and money to find out.

Quality foot brace that works for me
I need arch support for both my feet these work very well. They are breathable and easy to wash. They fit me comfortably. The velcro does wear out. I'm on my second pair.

Very supportive
I have been looking for arch supports that are comfortable and donโt move when I walk. These are the ones that are perfect. Strong Velcro to hold on the foot without moving. They come with an additional set of small and large foam inserts in addition to the medium ones in the straps. So if needed, one foot can have larger or smaller arch support. Fanatastic deal for the price!
