Sound quality is fine.
Sound is actually pretty good.But they don't do a great job of killing back ground noise.The battery holder and electronics is a bit heavy and the clip not the strongest so it often becomes detached from your clothing.

It's ok
Sony MDR-NC33 Noise canceling headphones. Don't Expect Peaceful silence perhaps with a little background sound, when you switch on. They do knock-out some background hum but higher pitched stuff gets through. With MP3 player it's better and combined I am able to read my paper in the pub without too much distraction. O.k on the bus, not tried them on a plane yet.
