Melissa & Doug Hair Stylist Role Play Costume Dress-Up Set (7 pcs)

Great quality outfit and affordable. Made to wash. The hair dryer actually works, it just blows a bit of air, very fun for my 3 year-old. This outfit will fit for years as it is big on my daughter. This mirror is not a real mirror, which makes sense so it won't get broken. I love Mellissa & Doug outfits, they are so durable and will be played with for years. Now we have the vet outfit, princess outfit, and hair stylist outfit. I would rather spend money on a Melissa & Doug outfit than on a typical Halloween costume since those are made so poorly plus they cost the same if not more!

Really cute! The vest is well made and so are the stylist tools.. the only thing is, it is a little big on my 4 yr old. I got this for her bday. The back is shorter than the front so even though it velcros tighter around the waist, I would've liked the back to be the same length, as it starts to ride down in front and ride up in back and the extra vest starts to become wings instead of staying wrapped around the waist. It's still really cute though, just some design flaws that don't work for kids who would have to wear it tighter.

Melissa and Doug products are the best! You can never go wrong with this brand. These dress up clothes are durable and just absolutely adorable. They really give your child the illusion that they are whatever the dress up kit is. There’s Velcro on the back of the smock that holds it in your child’s body. It comes with a hair dryer that makes noise, fake scissors, a mirror and a comb. Very cute and sturdy! I would highly recommend this to anyone!

It has been so precious watching my girls (2 & 5) play with this set. Rest assured the scissors don't cut. I totally feel comfortable leaving them in reach of the kids. The hair dryer just blows cold air, but it's perfect for pretending. I bought some clips separately that they use as well. And the sticker on the mirror is plenty sufficient for seeing your reflection without having a glass mirror to worry about the kids breaking.

I love this because my daughter is ALWAYS doing our hair and she always wanting scissors to pretend better and this did. I gave only 4 stars because the mirror is a fun house like mirror (at least mine don't know if it is just a flaw in mine or all) and the hair dryer we had to hit on the side for it to start to work and sometimes have to hit it to start it up again. Don't feel like sending the whole thing back since my daughter is glued to the toy. I have a 3 year old and the apron fits fine on her and she has room to grow into it to last for a while.

This smock is so cute!! I bought this as a gift along with a hairstyling head for a 5 yr old girl. Hours of fun pretending to be a hairstylist/makeup artist. The front pocket has a card for you to write the child's name and a space to put her picture. Each accessory has it's own pocket but there is enough room in the pockets to put additional items. Fabric is pretty sturdy and doesn't look like it will fall apart after a few wash's. The best part is that the material is pretty thick & the apron is large enough to cover the child past the waist so when applying makeup to the doll head or a willing person, it doesn't end up all over your child's clothes.

I cannot say enough good things about Melissa and Doug products. These dress-up outfits are so adorable, and so worth the money. We got this one for our 5 year old for Christmas because she loves to play hairdresser. It comes with a name card, mirror, brush, plastic scissors, and a hairdryer that you can put batteries into so it makes noise, and a headband for her to wear that matches the smock. It is such great quality and tons of fun!

My twin daughters tore into these hairdressing costumes and played with them all day!! I also purchased a Corelle Style Head to accompany this gift. They love playing with everybody's hair, so I thought they would enjoy these costumes and they certainly do. One of the costumes was missing a comb, and the hair dryer didn't work. However, one call to Melissa & Doug and those things are being mailed out to me, so I have no complaints. Melissa & Doug Products are AWESOME and they really stand behind ALL their products. Very good company. I would never hesitate to purchase a Melissa & Doug product.

I bought for my niece for her 3rd birthday as she wanted to be a hairdresser just like me and she absolutly loves it its quite big on her i would say its more age for a 4year old plus but she still pretends to cut my hair and blowdry it and the hairdryer makes a noise it seems surreal.

4yr old loves to dressup - lots of fun pretending to do everyone’s (and dolls) hair. The smock is easy to put on/off, pockets for all the stylist accessories.

I love this little costume. It comes with cute little accessories that you need to start a little hairdresser shop.

Our 4YO loves it! The hairdryer makes the right noise and soft enough that it is enjoyable. The family takes turns to be the hairdresser! It is great!
