Good piece of gear for 1 man excavating
I am a DIYโer, not really professional at anything. I have a small farm and have many small excavating jobs that can be with box blade, grader blade, mini excavator. Can set up laser and mount this on implement to get reference height. Then work for pretty long periods without having to get off machine. Helps to make some brackets to mount I. Implement so you have more height adjustment.

Works and would buy again
Works as described. Would buy again. Using it on lift boom arm of compact track loader (skid steer). Receiver is clamped to short aluminum pipe, bolted to on/off magnetic base. Safety chain between Receiver and boom arm. Can easily see grade LEDs in daylight thru side window.

Quality product
I use this on the excavator stick when loading trucks. I watch the lights on the receiver. The lights are bright and easy to see. It keeps me close to grade. Would also work for fine grading.

Poor/Sound-Volume
Description states is has 110db volume from the speaker. I tested the speaker in a protected area, (enclosed carport) there was no wind. 38 to 40db, laser not running. 45db laser running. Turned on receiver, moved away from laser noise, 78-80db about 12" away, in front of speaker. Moved to less than 1", 89-90db. Not anywhere near what is needed to be outside in an even somewhat busy (noise) area. I was showing a friend the receiver, who was about 12' away, and he said he could barely hear it. It does have bright leds. The display has Vs, one up and on down, and has lines to indicated how close to grade you are approaching. Would be nice to be able to plug in an amplifier, and 'blue tooth' to a speaker in the cab. Nice unit, no useful volume. Unit 5 stars, speaker 0.

Great product, great price
Got the Spectra cr700 delvered by courier to my door in less than three days. Works flawlessly out of the box. Might be a bit heavy on the rod compared to a normal sized receiver. Arrows very bright. Very good magnets too. Best price on the net and lowest shipping cost too.

Best laser receiver I have used.. mounted to Excavator boom yesterday and dug a level trench for a French drain. Wish I would have ordered it months ago!
