Husband loves these and the feel in our pantry of a bed and breakfast/hotel stay. It makes for a clean space and the cereal has stayed fresh the entire time. The seal seems good as the freshness sticks around for weeks and we get a lot of use out of it. Easy to rinse and clean up.

The size is just right for where I previously parked several boxes of cereal. Looks good sitting on the counter. I just dump the whole box in and I'm set. One thing I noticed when I first got it was it includes rubber edged, round stoppers for the bottom of the spout. At first I thought I didn't need them, I thought they were to help keep the container air tight but it looked air tight already. What I learned, from my 2 children and curious others, is that what they are good for is keeping cereal droppings under control when curiosity seekers play with the knobs. Otherwise, you get a small pile of cereal on the silver grate below the spout, which doesn't look good. Now I move the stopper on and off. I wish it was hinged, though, so I didn't have to place it out of the way, first. Another complaint I read about is that cereal tends to fly around and/or get smashed when you turn the knob. This can be true. Bigger cereals are probably best here, but a simply solution is to just turn the handle left and right a bit and let the cereal drop down that way. The spout is controlled with rubber flaps, so, on one hand, it's flexible enough to shovel cereal in while still sealing the shoot, but on the other hand, it is still stiff enough to possibly smash the more delicate of cereal varieties. Overall, it's a bit plastic-y, but for the price good enough, I like it, it works as directed and it looks good. Update Dec 8, 2011: One other thing I found it good for is snacking. The top lid is easy to remove and stick your hand in it to grab some cereal.

My boyfriend and I love this nifty thing. It looks great in our kitchen. The colors of our cereal look fun, but the sleek design and solid color of the dispenser keep it from ever looking silly or distracting on our countertop. It looks great and I expect any guests who enjoy cereal to be pleased. Shipping was prompt, which I appreciate. I received this item a few days ago, but the delivery date that I was estimated is actually four days from now. I got this quite a bit earlier than expected, and I'm quite pleased about that. Putting the dispenser together was easy, and required no tools. You just slide the clear tops into the base and insert the dials through the appropriate slots. You really can't mess it up. I love a simple design. The construction seems solid enough that I don't worry about the clear part breaking or the base failing to keep the dispenser upright, yet it doesn't feel too heavy. In short, I believe this to be a well-made product. You remove the lid to fill the dispenser from the top. If I had one complaint about the product, it's that it's just barely unable to hold a whole bag of cereal of the brand that I choose (which, admittedly, tends to have larger-than-normal bags.)There is a cap that goes on the bottom of the dispenser as well, but it doesn't really seem to be needed. We haven't had any problem with cereal falling through the dispense flaps. The dial at the front of the dispenser connects to flaps that rotate on an axle, dropping small portions of cereal at a time, which is good for portion control. You won't have any problems with having more cereal spill out than you intended. If I remember correctly, it takes about 1 and 1/2 full turns of the dial to fill my cereal bowl. I seriously love this thing. Of all the nifty things I've purchased for my new home so far, this is my favorite.

I love this! If anyone has teenagers then I'm sure you've found at least one of them using thier last brain cell doing an asinine Tik Tok dances right?! They are dances that look like your teenager is training for the 2021 Macarena Olympics. Well this product sadly will not help them with that exact Tik Toc trend BUT....it will stop your teenager from drowning to death on the kitchen floor while their dumb friends videotape your kid while having an entire bag of cereal dumped in thier mouth, face, eyes, and your kitchen floor to then have have a gallon of milk poured in next. This item creates too much effort for them to crank the dispenser over and over. And thankfully if they are doing this trend then they aren't going to be smart enough to realize they can just dump it out the end you fill it with. The only negetive for this is it can be hard and messy when there is cereal that falls onto the base. The little tray that covers underneath to collect dust seems to just jam bigger pieces and end up breaking them trying to clean it off. But this is seriously the smallest inconvenience for the benefits. It looks nice, fits even the big boxes of cereal, stops cereal from going stale due to "someone" not closing the bag up, and you can always see if you're running out. Saves the morning (or 2pm depending on the teenager of course) panic of having no cereal left. Now I'm on the hunt for a Milk container option.

In my house, we eat cereal but we don't eat cereal. We buy cereal, stick it in the pantry and forget it's there. Boxes were piling up and by the time we had craving for some, the cereal was stale and needed to be thrown out. I figured that we never consumed it because since it was out of sight, it was as desired as other items. So I decided to get a cereal dispenser and came across this one. I love that it can be placed on the counter instead of mounted on the wall. It takes up a bit more space than I anticipated, but not so much that it's an issue. Each side holds about a bag's worth from a normal-sized box, so if you usually buy the family-sized boxes, be ready to refill the dispenser. The portions are perfect! I turn the knob once and get a good amount. If I want more, I turn it again and it's usually enough for a nice sized bowl. There are a lot of pieces but it arrives mostly assembled and is very easy to clean. I definitely recommend trying it out completely before putting in cereal. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this. I may buy another so that I can have more than one cereal available.

I was a bit hesitant to give this a try, simply because I didn't see how spending $35 would be worth it when I could just have my cats' dry food bags be rolled and clipped for freshness for a lot cheaper. But I am so happy that I purchased this dual food dispenser. First, it is incredibly easy to put together, and arrived in perfect shape. It looks as though it might be unsturdy, but so far it has held its ground. The overall appearance is very attractive, and looks a helluva lot better than rolled up bags! In terms of its utility, this dispenser is terrific! I can keep almost a full bag of cat kibble in each dispenser, so getting the kitties ready for meals is simple. A few twists of the knob, and I have just the right portion. I also no longer have dry food pouring out of enlarged bag holes, causing unpleasant, crumbly messes when the pieces I missed when cleaning up are accidentally stepped on later. Overall, this is a great product. It's plastic, but looks very sleek, and the chrome handle is a very nice touch that coordinates well with my decor. Zevro offers a similar dispenser that is specified as a pet food dispenser, but I think they're pretty much all the same thing. I picked this one because I wanted the two different containers, plus I liked the color scheme better, and it has worked out quite well.

I like how it look, easy to use. I wish that the support to put the cereal container is more sturdy so that the container will not bend down. But it is very functional and give easy access to have my breakfast. Good job vendor👍👍👍I will recommend this product.
