I received my first set of lights and was so excited. I hung them right away. Only to realize (once they were hung) that there was no switch on the cord and the lights would not turn on. I sent them back and got my second set of light sent to me. I opened the package to make sure the cords had switches (they did) I checked over the rest of the lights to make sure everything was there. I noticed these lights had chips missing out of the paint but I was able to touch them up on my own. I got the light hung up and went to put the cage on. And it took me almost 45 minutes to get them on. The cages looked straight but for some reason getting the spokes to go in the hole so you can attach it is nearly impossible.Save yourself a lot of time and frustration. Do not buy these lamps.

I only gave it four stars regarding how easy it is to install because there is some wiring that needs to be done before you can mount it to the wall and it's not very well explained in the instructions how to do it. Lucky me, I work with electronics often enough to feel comfortable putting it together but I don't think the average person would have a good time with it. I say that because the instructions talk about using the grounding wire and screw that comes with it, which you don't need, because it's only a two-prong plug. The part you plug into your wall doesn't have the third grounding prong. So you get poorly explained instructions about the extra prices you receive and don't need to use. But I digress. Otherwise, it's a handsome pair of lamps, and I love that I didn't have to do any hard wiring into the wall to be able to use them! I wish it had been easier to mount it more firmly to the wall though. That was a bit of a struggle, too. But I love them!

You will have to unscrew like 8 screws if you need to change the bulb...that’s about the worst thing about this fixture. We put in natural light led Edison bulbs so hopefully we won’t need to change them often! These are a perfect addition to our basement remodel!

Wow these were an experience! The first set came broken so I had to do an exchange which was simple. Then the install came...I've done a lot of this type of work and I consider this to be moderate to difficult. The instructions are vague suggestions and don't help with the switch option.Mostly the low rating is because of an insane design flaw. The only way to change a bulb is to unscrew every little nut that holds the cage on, pop the cage off, change bulb and then! Line the cage up with the holes perfectly while you screw allllllll the little nuts back on. Whyyyyyy would anyone design this???The reason this isn't 1 star is because these actually look amazing especially for the $20 price tag. I'll just be mad at my bargain loving self anytime I have to change a bulb!

The install was easy. I didn’t like the included wall anchors and purchased different ones. If used on drywall, the included anchors will fall through when trying to screw in the mount. The light functions as expected.

First of all, the metal feels substantial. It doesn't feel fragile at all like some other inexpensive fixtures I have purchased.. The angle adjustment feature is nice. Some may be turned off with the fact that you must remove the eight nuts holding the cage to the neck plate in order to install larger bulbs. (I used a 9/32 socket) But, it is possible as illustrated by the photo I attached. Also, there were no screws included in my order to attach it to a standard wall box, only plastic anchors/screws for drywall. But, for $10 apiece, I can deal with it. Overall, I am pleased.

These lights are super cute. They are good quality and easy to install. For my particular circumstance I had to buy a new mounting plate because the one that came with it didn't work for me. But I have and old home and the holes didn't line up no matter how hard I tried. But in the end I got them in. The bulbs are a little bit of PIA to get in because the whole cage had to come off. But the end result is adorable and exactly the look I was going for

Can't beat this 2 for 1 deal. I spray painted them with browns and grays to make them look vintage. The mounting is designed for a 4" ceiling style box but mine were 2x4 rectangular outlet type boxes but I made it work. To change the bulb, you unscrew the 8 nuts holding the wire cages to the mount. It does take a little fiddling to get the 8 cage wires aligned back up with the holes and get the nuts back on.

This product suffers from very bad design insofaras bulb replacement is ridiculously difficult and involves releasing nuts form top of cage as well as having to "spring" the cage to insert new bulb. Like the appearance but would not buy again.
