Great stand perfect for home use
The stand arrived in perfect condition. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and accurate. The unit is larger than expected. I picked this model over the New PS 10 version because it didn't have quick release height connectors. 3 reasons: 1) I don't do a lot of work on bikes so the speed and convenience were not important 2) Some reviews commented on the stand height slipping with heavy weight bikes, In this case the knobs offered more feel and control compared to the cam quick release and 3) It saved money while essentially providing a similar function. In practice the stand works great. Very sturdy. The height did not slip with a 30 lb mnt bike. The bike holding clamp was able to rotate and hold the bike in any position. I could turn the crank and adjust the shifting very comfortably maintaining good stand stability. keep in mind this is the < $200 model so it will not be as rock solid as the top of the line. But for the home owner - its a good value. Also i like the use of Steel in the manufacture as it adds weight to the stand. A few extra pounds helps stability and the steel resists dents and damage better than soft Aluminum.

Why didn't I get this years ago?
What a great stand. Quick and easy assembly. Should have bought a Park when I bought my cheap stand years ago. So much stable, and the bike doesn't move! It's true, you get what you pay for!!

Excellent stand
If you're like me and you need to wrench on your bike from time to time but you don't need a pro stand, this rocks. It's sturdy, stable, and clamps up your bike nice and tight with a minimum of muss and fuss. It's easy to adjust and offers a lot of options for angles and heights to hold your bike. The big difference here is the clamp. The more upscale Park stand has a fancier clamp that's easier to use one-handed. This clamp has the same jaws, but requires a little more dexterity to use. Honestly, for me I like this clamp better. I really like this stand a lot and have now used it for multiple jobs on carbon, aluminum, and steel-framed bikes with aero tubes, round tubes, plain posts, dropper posts, etc. It works with everything just fine. And it will make your life a lot easier.

Great stand for MTB or Road
This is a very solid stand. I debated between this or another brand and happy I went with this one. I have a full suspension MTB around 30 lbs that this stand holds no problem. The clamping jaws are very easy to use and adjust tension. Also the rear adjustment to adjust the rotation of the bike in the stand is great too. Very easy to use. Only issue I had was the assembly. Although it went fine, and took about 15 minutes, the directions are not the best. But the stand goes together pretty easily and not too hard to figure out even if you didnt have directions. It even inlcudes all the tools needed to assemble, although the "wrench" is kind of a joke. It fold up and collapses down to store in the garage out of the way very easily as well. Overall, I am VERY happy with this stand.

Don't forget that the cheap ones are hard to assemble!
I have been eyeing a bike stand for years and finally made the purchase. Wow, I am glad I chose Park Tool! Sometimes I choose a cheaper version of items, and I had checked some other bike stands out. It did not occur to me that I would need to assemble the stand (duh), and as I was doing it, I was picturing myself trying to assemble one with sub-standard parts and even more sub-standard instructions! Not the case with the Park Tool! The assembly took a little time, but was very clear and easy to follow. The instruction manual was laid out nicely, with detailed figures as well as text. The parts, even the tiny ones, were all there (not always a given!). It would have been so frustrating to finally get a bike stand only to struggle to put it together. Now that it is assembled, I can tell how bummed I would be with a substandard piece of equipment. Remember that this is holding a BIKE, people! Bikes are heavy! I am so glad I didn't go cheap and get a mechanic's stand that is folding in on itself or falling over. I am happy I spent the extra money (and honestly, not even that much more) for a Park Tool stand. Sometimes you can go with the knockoff, but this is not that case. It's a great piece of equipment and worth every penny!

Quality, Function, and finish is 5-star, Value is 4-star so overall is 4.5 Stars
This Park product has a Lifetime warranty against defects. Chose the 5-star rated Park PCS 9.2 Model over the the 4-star rated 9.0 entry level Model stand, despite the increased cost, because the reviews of the 9.0 indicated design weaknesses specifically with the push button leg lock NOT holding reliably, resulting in collapses and damage. Do NOT recommend buying the 9.0 model for this reason. Per a bike industry publication Bicycle Retailer & Industry News (BRAIN), the Park 9.0 and 10.0 stands were redesigned and upgraded in 2019 to the 9.2 and 10.2 so it's a good idea to consider these improved stands even though they both cost more than the original model. This steel stand is sturdier and more stable than the cheaper aluminum stands with resin bike clamps and fittings that cost 1/3 to 3/4 the price of this 9.2 stand. The padded clamp jaws open a max of 3." The two-legged stand will fit (stand) in a corner with the upright post in a vertical position. In use, the upright post is canted toward the mechanic for increased stability of the stand with bike. Had a line on a nice used non-collapsing Parks Pro floor model repair stand, but we needed a collapsible stand for traveling, so went with the Park 9.2 Model. Not pleased with the additional cost of the 5-star rated 9.2 over the 4-star rated 9.0 stand, but again the 9.2 is a sturdier, more reliable design, so in that respect the $20 extra dollar cost was necessary. Again, due to design issues with the leg button, I would NOT recommend or buy a 9.0 stand - period. Features: The 9.2 stand a steel tube, all steel bicycle clamp stand with some resin/plastic parts like the friction cone rotator surfaces in the bike clamp, upright tube adjusting clamp, leg positioning clamp, and adjustment knob handles. The plastic parts appear durable/strong, the steel components are stout. The fit and matte blue powder coat finish and decals are excellent. The Park box this item arrived in was labeled as "Designed in the USA. Made in China." The stand components were well packaged and padded to ensure no shipping damage. It arrived without any shipping induced cosmetic flaws.

Buy this TODAY. You will thank me tomorrow.
As many others have said, let me add "Why did I wait so long to buy this". If you do a lot of bike maintenance, this is a time saver and back saver. For years I suspended my bikes with two 3/4 inch black pipes 4 feet long over two dining room chairs. Over the years I had about 5 collapses with chairs and bikes and pipes banging onto the floor. Now with this stand I can simply use the round cross bar on men's bikes, or use the seat post on women's bikes or the latest "square tube bikes". The holder rotates 90 degrees to horizontal or vertical position and grabs firmly with a cone shaped wedge clutch that provides excellent holding power. Also you can raise the height adjustment so you can sit on a chair when adjusting brakes or derailleurs instead of sitting on the floor. Also great for new riders, or old riders getting new bikes to learn to shift patterns of the front and rear gears while standing still and being able to look at the what's happening at the rear (while I work the pedals) instead of making big mistakes on the road. Assembly took 15 minutes. Instructions are excellent. Bravo to Park Tools for this Pro tool for home use.

Great stand, really well built
I was going to go with a cheaper stand, but with so many bikes in the family to maintain (or wash) I decided to treat myself, and boy I am glad I did. This is easy to assemble, very robust and nicely built and easy to use. If I had any negative comment I feel the head of it would be good if it could fold down for better storage. Well worth it!

Supporto consigliato
